We tend to come here a lot with our team at work. Always a decent experience for us. The steaks are decent and everything is reasonably priced. No major complaints from me.
Went here last Saturday night and had a really succulent chicken snitzel with hot nicely crisp chips and creamy and deluciius bourbon pepper sauce which was served on the side. The service at the bar was also great. Will definitely come back. Only downer was heaps of kids chasing each other and mucking around without their parents at the pool tables being silly with the pool cues. Scraping the tables and play fighting with them.
Have come here plenty of times for weekend safari parties. Absolutely love the indoor + outdoor setting. So much to do, play pool, slot machines etc. Drinks are well priced. Staff is just wonderful. Work so hard in maddening crowds and always delivering with a smile. Have had a hard time ordering food though, as kitchen closes early, long wait due to being very crowded and too many orders. Love the place and will keep visiting.
Nice cosy ambience with a snooker table and a fireplace. Food is decent and service is the same. I go there from time to time for a steak or other pub food and drinks and have never been disappointed. The only dish I did not like here was the pork ribs. Been going here for years, little run down but the African themes quite cool. Awesome menu with classic pub food, heaps of choice, big portions & is consistently Good. Great prices too, perfect for a couple of drinks and a cheap hearty meal
One of my favourite little hide aways on the shore. It's got a great atmosphere and really workable bar area! Their food is pretty tasty but it's the usual bar food. Great outdoor space that you can dominate and not to mention great for kids. It's almost like having drinks in your backyard with the large picnic size tables. Very weird location but I think that's why I like it even more. It's quiet and private. Drink prices are the usual for the area and their selection of beverages is great. Staff are always friendly and honest. Worth a visit if you're in the area.
Love pub grub. Had my birthday here and it was a fun night. Fab theme too. Reasonably priced. Will be back.
Very good food, good verity, served quickly. Unusual to find food this good in a "pub" setting. I have eaten here regularly for 12 months with both small and large groups (10) and they are consistently good.
Even when we have gone for a meal when other "bar" functions such as "quiz night" are on they have accommodated us well as there is enough room to keep you separate.
I had an excellent dining experience at Bar Africa last Friday. I ordered a Mexican Chicken Burger, which was extremely good value for money as the portion was of a very reasonable size, and the onion rings are delicious! The mexican burger comes with cheese melted onto the chicken, and salsa on top which makes for a nice fresh burger in summer. The staff were all very plesant and helpful, overall a great meal in a great atmosphere.
My partner and I have had meals at Africa on several occasions, and for a range of different events. The meals, and service are both outstanding, with fabulous service on every occasion. We have introduced many family and friends who have all enjoyed the meals and dine in this fabulous 'African' themed bar and restaurant often now too. Well done to the Chef and the team, no request or dietary need too difficult. highly recommended and reasonable pricing

I went on a Monday afternoon, so it was very quiet. It looks like a lovely place, where people can hang out and catch up. There's TVs everywhere, pool tables, and a designated smoking area. There are two big outdoor areas, which is lovely in summer.
I did think that $10 was quite steep for a beer, even if it was imported. I also thought the food menu was a bit dear, so I didn't order food.
I asked the one lady if I could take some photos, and she said yes. But then the (I think owner) got upset and asked why I was taking photos.
It's still think it is a nice place, which somewhat reminds me of home (South Africa). The decor was a bit typical and generic "Africa".

Plenty of parking on site or out the front available. Outdoor seating during the warmer months is also very spacious. The bar itself is large with plenty of beers on tap as well as all your favourite spirits. Pool tables and gaming machines are on site along with the option for karaoke. Pricing is a wee bit high, overall relaxing place for a cold drink
Little off the beaten track located more in an industrial area so plenty of parking and large outdoor areas. Nicely African theme inside and out with staff genuinely friendly and efficient.
Food was delicious we also order a pizza but my partner dug in before I even had the chance to take a picture. Staff was very friendly. Also very clean inside too
Thursday nights are the best with wonderful sexy hostesses from Covergirls. Somehow it's a bit gloomy lighting inside, but the rest is very good and personally I go for the pool tables as much as anything. Nice job.

The staff are friendly and have good banter.
Especially great if you come Thurs because that's when they have sexy women come in and parade around in lingerie.
