I love Carls jr, but not today
I ordered 2 combo with takeaway, I understand chips sometimes is cold but today the burgers are cold.
There were some people in shop as it was lunch time but why the food was cold?
I got them in 2 mins, it was so fast but the food is cold. the edge of lettuce is brown
I think you have to provide fresh food, not stock or leftover from cancelled order,..
It took 2 minutes, it says all... Your staff needs to be more trained.

Comfort food. Fast and tasty, cheat day kinda food. Staff not so friendly when we were there, might be cos it's peak busy dinner time. Love their burgers though. We always use their coupons to save quite abit of money so check out their website. My favorites are their chili with fries, Alabama chicken. They also give free Mayo as well where other fast food charge extra. We spent about $40 for four of us. Great value of money!
had the chips and the crossed chips, the chips are big but crispy and fresh not like the usual chips you get from fast-food restaurants. service was quick and clean, friendly staff and the ingredients were as fresh as the ingredients that we use in our daily occurrence and it was very cheap. I rate you the best fast-food restaurant.
Had the bacon swiss chicken burger and a cheeseburger. I don't normally favour hamburgers but this place was great!

Came last week drive through and the staff super nice. They told me how to order through intercom to make my order cheaper! Good on them so I ordered more! California burger is the best!

Stopped here on our way up north. Quite a busy establishment. Lots of seating and seating arrangements which I thought was cool. Clean environment. Bonus free wi-fi which was appreciated while we waited for our food. I like that it was served like a cafe. Pay for food at the till and you get a number. Food gets served at your seating place. The usual menu. Would return.
Tyla and her team have done an absolutely amazing job with this restaurant. The quality of service here is second to none. The Food is consistently fresh and served quickly while the restaurant is kept as tidy and clean as the day it opened. Staff here are all friendly and ready to provide everybody the best burger experience one could have here in New Zealand. There is no doubt in my mind that this Carl's Jr has The Best Restaurant Manager and Team in The Country. Thank You!!

Big tummy: As far as fast-food goes, I guess Carl's Jr is slightly in the upper echelon of burger joints - like it's certainly not gourmet burgers and not even quite up to Burger Fuel standards... but they're definitely a step up from the dodgy fare served up by rivals McDs and BK.
I'm not a huge fan of their fries (weirdly enough, I actually prefer the chemical concoction that is McDs fries...) and they are one of the places that offer re-fills for drinks (and they even offer ginger beer!), so I usually opt for the small meal deals. Their burgers are a decent size though, so you still get a good feed without filling up on fries.
The quality and taste of the burgers don't disappoint either. As mentioned earlier, CJ's burgers can hardly be called gourmet, but at least you can actually taste the individual ingredients that make up your burger, unlike the generic tasting food you can get from similar establishments. This quality crosses over to the desserts too - the chocolate orange shake? Woooow. Whereas I was expecting some simple jaffa flavoured shake, it actually had like bits of crushed Oreo all through it, giving you that extra flavour and texture.
Frankly, our visit to CJ's reminded me why we tend to only visit McDs and BK for their $1 frozen drinks. If CJ's started offering those as well, I can't imagine us going anywhere else for our fast food burger fix.
Little tummy: $10 for a shake and burger? Yes please. I opted for the chicken sandwich and their promotional chocolate orange shake. I'm not a big fan of burgers, but the chicken sandwich left me happy enough. My boyfriend's burger was nicer (of course I snuck a bite hahaha). The shake was easily the star though! The Oreo crumbled all through it just took the shake to another level. I'd happily go back to CJ's just for another of their shakes.
Just had the best drive-thru experience ever. Dylan made us laugh so much and was so friendly. Awesome to find a nightshift fast food employee with a sense of humour. Food's good too ;)
Went here for lunch and had the Alabama Big Eat, chicken burger, chips, onion rings and drink. The chips were not the freshed, and the bacon in the burger was a bit overcooked (as per the photo), but was still a nice burger overall. (Chicken is hidden in the photo). This is one of my favorite combos, with the onion rings a part of it.
Experience was amazing, our food was quick and very good. I got two of the All Star Meals and they were delicious. When our food was delivered we just had to applaud the server because he did such a great job. Thank you so much Alex for making my day.
Ordered a bourbon burger in the drive through, the lady was super patient while I messed with my banking app. The burger was a monster, was super stoked considering the previous burger I had ordered was a flat dry mess from the big M. What Champs!

This was my first time trying Carls Jr, will DEFINITELY be going back, the food was lovely and tasted like quality, I got 2 burgers, chips and a drink for 15$ which is crazy. The cheese was actually melted on the burgers for once unlike other fast food restaurants, the chips were nicely salted and the overall meal was absolutely amazing and filling. The service was crazy good, our server was super nice and even showed us to a table, next thing you know as soon as we sit down the food is being BROUGHT OVER TO US. Usually you need to collect it from the counter which was a nice change for me. The atmosphere is lovely too, the Albany branch has a-lot of windows with some decent scenery, the place was tidy with no food on the floor and no food left on tables, it had a nice layout and it wasn’t too busy. Definitely a new favourite and I will be going back, I recommend you try this restaurant if you haven’t already.
There was a long queue to the counter. There was an order backlog visible on the screens inside the store. There was a long drive-through queue. You'd expect to be dealing with stressed staff. Nope, these people rushed from task to task (including table delivery) but never lost their cool, nor their professionalism. I'm disappointed by the wait that I experienced, but am very impressed with how the staff worked to bring waiting times back down. Perhaps the expectations of we customers could be managed by displaying the 'age' of the 'oldest' order in the queue on a separate display.
I am a full vegetarian, normally take aways do not interest me as vegetarian meals from fast food joints are terrible with no love or attention to flavor and sloppy ingredients. Carl's Jr Albany totally surprised me with an amazing vegetarian chick burger with real proper salad a plant base chicken patty and dressing that actually do complement the whole burger. I was that impressed I personally asked to speak to the young lady who made the burger, she had only started 3 weeks ago and was still in training her name is Maddison. Bravo Carl's Jr Albany 👏 👏👏. For an old school chef off 22 yrs to be surprised with a well balanced full flavor product made by the young hands of a trainee 👏👏. Highly recommend a must a must stop in and experience
Clean and tidy. Excellent Service! and the staff here are welcoming and friendly. The order was so fast I think it's the fastest order I've ever received before. The cheeseburger however was a bit cold but still good tasty and all. All the rest of the food was fantastic. Extremely recommend this Carl's Jr has the best and highest standards. Never disappoints! 5+ stars definitely.
Whatever they have done to the food, it tastes good. The meat is full of Flavour and the salad tastes fresh in the burgers. The fries are great too. My meal came out (eat in) before I had even finished pouring my drink on the dispenser. Atmosphere is marked low as the tables that were empty still have crumbs over them. It was busy, but this could be better.
better than McDonald's. floors are often sticky though like burger king. Milkshake got bits in it.
