Everything about this place is amazing. The atmosphere, the decor, the food , the service. Best Asian food I have ever had. We got a whole lot of starters and 4 mains for 8 people and it was perfect amount of food. Would highly recommend and dine here again.
Fantastic service and our meal was amazing the staff were very helpful with the menu as I didn't know what a lot was let alone how to pronounce :) we were even the last to leave but not once did we feel rushed. Definitely a new fave!
The food was authentic and delicious. It was a shame that the Taiwanese beers seem to be available but were not listed on the menu. Would love to come back to try their bubble tea and desserts next time. Different areas offers different atmosphere. Could be for a causal lunch or a more intimate dinner.
What a great pleasant surprise. We only meant to have a quick stop at Ashburtonâs McDonaldâs, but only found out it temporarily shut down for renovation, so we came to this place, which worked out fantastically.
The decor is creative and cozy, service is decent, and the food is pretty solid, especially the noodle soup, really surpassed our expectations. Only the signature corn fried thing tasted only average and weirdly cold, everything else we absolutely loved. The dessert is also outstanding.
Travelled here because of the good reviews weâd heard. Really well done menu with a real range of options!
The service was excellent and we had our meals brought to us under 10 minutes of ordering them.
The âdessert menuâ was a short presentation given by the waitress showing photos on an iPad with a description of each one, so personal!
With the service and the well presented meals, we had expected a higher bill at the end but we were pleasantly surprised, highly recommend this restaurant.
Best Asian food we had. We ordered beef noodles (I requested extra spicy for myself which tastes even better since Iâm a spicy food lover) and it tasted so close to what we had in Taiwan! Dessert is a must order and we had chocolate eclair. Just so pleased that we found this place for lunch on our way to Christchurch! Would recommend :)
Amazing service and amazing food! I had my reservations as some people mentioned it was Asian fusion but boy, how delicious and authentic the food was! We ordered the Crispy Pork Belly, Taiwanese fried chicken, crispy calamari, stir friend noodles, taiwanese beef noodle soup, braised duck on rice, fried tempura shrimp with mango, steak and bubble tea. There was more than enough to go around and we left with full bellies. The service was also very fast. It took about 15 to 20mins tops to get our food and drinks. For 4 adults and 4 kids, this was a fantastic dining experience.
A lovely Taiwanese restaurant at the heart of Ashburton, brings the Asian food pallet to New Zeland.
The moment one steps in the atmosphere takes the person to Asia, with the stunning interior design. The menu includes selection of Chinese dishes and Japanese sushi selection. We ordered honey bbq pork, duck rice & taiwanese beef. Have to say I have never eater such flavors outside of China that takes the dining person back to Asia. High points for the chefs.
Drinks: I was impressed how their drink selection stays directly to the topic from Japanese beer (Saporo), Kawala wiskey and kaolian (Taiwanese alcohol)
High recommendation if you visit Ashburton to go there
The restaurantâs ambience was extremely beautiful. The food was great, the creamy chicken noodle soup and honey pork was delicious. The prices of food were reasonable!
Great food with large portions; warm atmosphere and good vibes. Staff were friendly and recommended the right dishes for us. Loved the attentiveness and friendliness of the staff. You could order the chicken cutlet on its own off the menu if you're craving for fried chicken. Cumin lamb was amazing.
Will very happily go back. The food was amazing and very reasonable. The deserts were top notch and best I have ever had. Great service too.
Fusion Asian.
Very good fried rice. Look, smell and taste like the fried rice in Taiwan.
We ordered the Taiwanese Fried Chicken but was a little bit disappointed as some chicken pieces were too chunky that some their taste were bland.
Their Guabao (braised pork) was faultless. Not too sweet and melt in your mouth.
