They are open in lockdown. As well as pizza, there is real food. We had the fabulous lemon chicken and a rare steak mignon. Both travelled well and tasted perfect once we got home. Ordering the steak rare meant it didnt over cook while we got it home. Fresh vegetables. Best dinner in lockdown level 3.
We called into Da Sette Soldi on Friday night with no reservation even though the place was near capacity we were found a table and made most welcome . As we were in Auckland for an exhibition booking a time was hard . We managed to call the following 2 nights also and were accommodated with no booking (sorry ) would recomend you book as this is always busy and Food and service was superb !! 5 stars from us guys
Came here with family for dinner and we had a great experience. The staff were extremely friendly and helped us customize a pizza for our kids (they don’t like pineapple on pizza, the weirdos). The menu has a lot to choose from, which we all loved. Thanks for a wonderful evening!
Probably one of the best places I’ve had mussels at! I don’t order much seafood but this place definitely does it well. Was an excellent experience and I am definitely going again!!
The place was extremely busy and mostly booked out, but they still managed to get us a table. The food and service was excellent! The food was also served surprisingly fast. Best Carbonara in town, will definitely revisit!
Great service and great food. We had the cannelloni which my husband pronounced excellent. I had the terakihi - served with the right amount of vegetables -absolutely delicious. Will return again soon. Would give 4.5 stars if I could.

Entree - Garlic pizza bread, was absolutely yum, garlic cooked perfect, wasn't raw and that garlic breathe after.
Cheese pizza bread, that was beautiful, cheese wasn't fully melted to go everywhere but was so tasty!
Mains - spaghetti carbonara with chicken, absolutely delicious, pasta done perfectly and everything else was in proportion
Lasagne - easily done normally but mince wasn't too strong and pastry was not undercooked.
Overall a perfect meal and will go back to have Italian and know I will thoroughly enjoy it 😊
It is so good to be able to walk into an Italian restaurant without any reservation. This place has good friendly service, big portion for the price you pay. 1 main pasta and an appetizer can easily fill up two people. Me and my bf got a main pasta each and a small garlic bread. We took home my pasta and struggled to finish his. Will def come back next time
One of the best restaurants in town. My family has dined here may times and I have also taken business associates for meals here. Fast & friendly service, and the food is always fantastic!
Can't believe how busy this place is on a Monday night, this is a good sign! BF said the Garlic Prawns are great ... And I love the pasta and the pizza, both full of flavor ... Lovely neighborhood restaurant, we will be back!
We had the garlic bread, calamari, lasagna and risotto as entree size and it was enough for two adults. All the dishes were delicious and the staff were nice and very accommodating with us having a stroller. It is a small restaurant and very noisy so if you’re not a fan of loud noise, it could be hard to enjoy the food.

Paid NZ$46.96 (including surcharge for paying by credit card) for 2 persons dinner. The Hawaiian pizza was nice - filled with a lot of ham and the crust was crunchy. The Fettuccine Sette Sodi was flavourful and the sauce was creamy. Service was friendly, attentive and efficient. They helped us to get a table although we didn’t make a reservation. They served water without us asking. The decor was nice but was quite noisy as there were a lot of customers.
An outstanding Italian restaurant!
We ordered the risotto, seafood pasta and vegetarian fettuccini, garlic bread, marinated olives, salad and tiramisu.
Each dish was cooked to perfection. We weee served very quickly and it genuinely felt like we were in an Italian family lounge at home.
Have been coming here for over 10 years and never once been disappointed. Even with new management, they really put the effort in to make food top notch. Highly recommend!
We enjoyed our dinner here. We really liked the cheese bread as it had a nice charred cheese taste. The fettuccine sette soldi and primavera were really well seasoned and sauces were really flavourful. The Gamberi was good but just a bit under seasoned so we added
a decent amount of salt to it. Dishes also took a while longer than we would have liked to come out however they did seem kinda busy. Cocktails were nice and refreshing as it wasn’t overly sweet.

Food was delicious and service was amazing. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. We tried pepperoni pizza and seafood chowder.

Excellent food. We had the Garlic King Prawns and Pesce Del Giorno Grilled Fish for mains, also ordered feta salad and garlic pizza base bread . We really enjoyed everything. Thank you 😊
