Cute sleepy funny cats! Drinks and food were average. Friendly good service, explaining the rules nicely and promptly at the beginning of the 1hr session. It's my third visit and I enjoy it every time. Worth it. 😍

I definitely enjoyed my time here. The staff were nice and welcoming. The cats were friendly and playful. A definite plus for me was that the cats were all rescued. Thank you BaristaCats for giving them a furever home.
This place is amazing. I went sometime last week, and it now is one of my favourite places despite having gone only once.
Now, I didn't order anything, but it's worth mentioning that the staff there were very friendly and welcoming, introducing you to each of the cafe's adorable cats.
I'll definitely be going again, and the second time, I won't be alone either- it felt almost wrong of me not to tell others about this place.
Cozy and aesthetically pleasing, comforting and warm, it is undoubtedly the best place to be for foodies and cat lovers alike.
As an overall comment, it's a must-visit; a hidden gem and a nice break in the busy flow of the city.
I’ve only been to the BaristaCats Cafe once but it was a wonderful experience. The customer services were great and they were all very kind and direct with how the place works. It’s a nicely decorated place with every wall having something to look at which I think is great. It’s a bit pricey, I would say for drinks and such. As well as the location being a bit hard to find. The cats were lovely and a lot of fun to be around, it took us a while to actually start playing and sit with us. As they all seemed a little tired. It was overall a great experience and WOULD DEFINITELY GO AGAIN
Been there twice. Cars are lovely and coffee is nice. It's nice to go there and relax. Location is convenient and easy to find. Would definitely visit again!
Came here this afternoon with grab1 voucher :) it’s a purrrfect sweet little cafe! Absolutely enjoyed the atmosphere and loved these little furry friends! My flat white was umm ok, but you don’t really come here for coffee do you :P
Visited this cafe a few times. It's $15 to enter, and hosts a large assortment of cats, of varying degrees of affectionate. The food is a little pricy, but very good. Plus, if you want the attention of the felines, ordering food is the easiest way to do it. Hamburglar will be on you in a heartbeat if they see food.
My favourite was Banksy though, a gorgeous fluffy ginger tabby who when I visited, had needed to get his teeth taken out and spent most of my visit sleeping by my side.
It is recommended to go in the morning however, as the cats start sleeping in the afternoon.

Came here on a Tuesday as they have 2 for $20 Tuesday's special, which includes 1 hour for 2 pax and 2 drinks. Booking online was fuss-free and you get to see available time slots and pax. It was really great as everyone had lots of space and opportunities to mingle with the cats. The friendly staff made us feel welcomed and introduced us to the different cats. We had fun using the toys to play with them, and they were so active. Coffee was good and I love the spacious vibrant cafe, exactly what a cat cafe should be! Lovely experience.
Probably the most coolest cafe in Auckland. The team at the cafe were super friendly and didn't mind me staying there longer than time I paid for. I didn't even really take notice on what I was drinking because I was too busy playing with the cats who are all very well behaved and gentle towards humans.
A magical kitty space, with great staff and good coffee. There, you can meet many adorable cats that are quirky and friendly (and also with a sense of entitlement, because cats can). They are just hanging around and it's a privilege to be ignored by them. It is a requirement that you love animals as this is not a place for the curious. The staff is also helpful, caring and knowledgeable about them. It's an opportunity to interact with cats as they look down on you with their superiority complex, a thing that any cat owner is used to. Only children 10+ that are kind to animals are accepted. I really recommend this place, it's a place for you to make cats feel happy.
Perfect place for cat lovers. I love how the animals are treated. My husband also loves this place very much. Friendly staff and ADORABLE cats! You won't regret spending your free time here if you enjoy cats' company.
They have more than a dozen cats living here! They're all adorable and some of them have been through a rough life but that hasn't stopped them from being even more adorable.
There's a blind one who is just so happy to get pets it melts my heart. There's a cross-eyed one that loves to chase after a fuzzy red ball and he's just so enthusiastic. The place clearly is doing a lot of good for these cats.
Only warning is to be mindful of what time you're going, since you pay in 1 hour increments and cats are naturally sleepy at various points in the day, especially around 11!
I really liked their concept which helping poor cats to let them stay in peaceful place.
Cafe's staffs were friendly and nice, introduced their cats and rules very well too! This one is the best cat cafe I've been visited so far and u won't regret if u are a cat lover.
What a great cafe! Lots of sweet cats. A few have particularities so be sure to listen to how one should interact with some of them. The best time to visit is apparently Tuesday mornings.

No but really, this is one of the best places in the city. Warm and quiet, with great coffee and a large selection of snacks (including vegan options).
The residents are great too, most of the cats are relaxed and friendly, and the staff are so happy and excited to talk about the cats and their personalities and stories. All of the cats are rescues and they are treated so well here!
Not a place to bring kids though, there is a restriction of only children over ten, for the well-being of the kitties.
My only complaint is that an hour is not long enough, but you can extend that time for a reduced cost :D
This cat cafe has over ten sweet cats, with a few disabled ones and former stray cats. Some of the cats are very young and playful, whereas some are a little older and more calm. The cafe is pretty big, with a cute interior, and the staff is friendly!!
This amazing space right in the heart of the city is unreal! I’ve been considering going there for a while now & finally managed to squeeze some time in. Best decision ever! The atmosphere in there is like no other. I know how certain people are skeptical about integrating with cats but the cats at Barista cats have a relaxed vibe about them. The owners were warm & welcoming and took time out to introduce each one. All the cats they house have unique personalities, none like the others. I would highly recommend a trip to Barista cats to people who are cat lovers and even to those who aren’t.
It's a cafe filled with cats; what more is there to say? You'll become acquainted with furry favorites including Wednesday, Woody, and Barry. You'll only wish you didn't have to leave. Entry includes a choice of drink and myriad toys for the felines to play with. Fear not if it's nap time when you arrive; everyone is at full attention as soon as the dining room door is opened.
A smorgasbord of kitties! I had an awesome time at BaristaCats during my visit in Auckland.
I went in the latter part of the day but the kitties were still snuggly and amazing and I loved all the little details around the place to interact and learn about the cafe.
Special shout out to the team for making sure my drink was safe for my myriad of dietary requirements; it was very much appreciated.
Would highly recommend a visit here for some awesome kitty snugs and to contribute to a good cause.
