The best lamb shoulder hands down, I’m not a big fan of lamb but I’m a huge fan of pedros. I tried pedros for the first time in Queenstown and I’m so happy that there is a Pedros in Auckland. Makes a beautiful dinner on a night in. Highly highly recommend!
The slow cooked lamb is to die for, that is the feather in their hat and that is the only big dish that they sell. It isn’t call House of Lamb for nothing, I absolutely love the delicate lamb that is slow cooked to make it fall apart on your fork and possibly melt in your mouth. The salads and potatoes that they serve along with the lamb are brilliant too.
Tried this place after finding out they serve Halal lamb..
Went there with my wife and kids and now they can’t wait to go back and try the juicy succulent roasted lamb with scallop potatoes!
Staff was super friendly and accomodating..
They have a simple menu but I guess when you serve lamb this good you dont need anything else 😁🙏🏼

You can get an individual serving of the tenderly roasted lamb shoulder or grab a whole one to share. It is $50 for the whole shoulder (3-4 people) or $17 for an individual serving. I took mine away but there were tables for eating there. The lamb and potatoes were fresh out of the oven so they were hot in the aluminum tray, so it was good that it came with a cardboard carrier too.
For some reason, I was expecting the potatoes to be creamy like a gratin but it wasn't. Instead, it's really soft herbed potato slices. Both the lamb and potatoes were really nice and there was plenty of juices in the tray. Lots of meat and potatoes for a meal or two depending on how many people are there.
If you like lamb then you will most likely love this place.
We ordered 1 lamb shoulder which came with potatoes and was honestly the best decision for dinner ever! Lamb was so delicious and the man at the shop was super lovely. Would totally recommend for anyone!
Awesome food and great setup. Friendly service provided . Atmosphere was nice and clean. Good place to dine in. Would love to come back again.
Went in and ordered the Individual Portion to go, which was prepared quite quickly. Might have to wait a bit if there's a few orders in already ahead of yours as there only seems to be one staff working. Anyway, I ate it a little while after I got home and I couldn't be bothered to reheat it but I didn't have to - it was still so delicious even after the food had cooled down a bit. Both the lamb and potatoes are so soft and almost melts in your mouth with the right proportioned tastes of herbs. Portion size is just right for one.
We dropped in for lunch today with the special lamb pack to feed the 3 of us plus a salad as well , very delicious and tender although we didn’t finish all the potatoes as we probably needed more meat ! It was so good that I even forgot to take a photo , will try to upload some next time when back again soon !

Fantastic Food! Great Service! It's really everything you ever wanted if you're a lamb lover like me. $40 gets you a feast for at least 2, so its really affordable.

Best roasted lamb in NZ. I wish they could sell the stock itself. Such amazing meal with the best Spanish hospitality. Tks guys
Extremely limited menu but what's available is all you'd ever need. We got the whole lamb shoulder with scalloped potatoes to share for two. Both were delicious, perfectly cooked and flavoursome, and filled us both up. We ate in the restaurant which caters more for takeaway but has a few tables, this does not diminish the cozy atmosphere and the service is warm and welcoming. They also offer salads and bread rolls, and deliver through uber.
Not just delicious lamb. There is now Estrella Damn on tap and tapas. Friendly staff and nice new decor. Even table football if you can drag yourself away from the food
Killer meal. Fastest service ever. You order and before you can say "shoulder", the dish shows up at your table. Fuss free, honestly good slow cooked lamb shoulder. Menu is minimal but who needs a million sides when you have such a yummy piece of lamb?

The lamb is perfectly cooked ... they say it's a meal for 2 ... but when/if you add a couple of vegetables, we found there is enough for 3 hungry people ... 4 at a stretch ... or 11 supermodels

Delicious lamb shoulder. Absolutely tender. Flavour wise I would prefer more rosemary but makes a great lunch nonetheless

Excellent Lamb Shoulder. Falls off the bone and served with fast potatos. The service was also great if you choose to dine in.
The shoulder is a generous portion which is great for three people.
Succulent lamb shoulder - smells and tasted divine. Good value for money at $45 for 3-4 portions. Love this as a takeaway option for cold winter evenings!
I don’t usually do ratings buttttt this Amazing place. One of the best on my month trip, north and south combined. Great price. Great flavours. You have to go.
