My husband's office at upstairs, so i always wait him in this cafe. Drinks are pretty good, foods are delicious. Service really friendly and polite.
Wow I just want to say that this place surprised me completely. Was in the area early morning and thought to get a coffee from here and to my amazement this cafe is huge! With a back area for kids to play. This place looks tiny from the outside but is spacious and bright inside. Will come again.
Ristretto Cafe in Royal Oak (Auckland) have really good tasty food. If you're in the Royal Oak region or live near there I'd suggest their big breakfast / coffee. Great!

Like so good- I highly recommend the chicken soft tacos.
The coffee is amazing- smooth and strong and the service is impeccable.
The staff are so friendly and helpful.
The menu is expansive but not overwhelmingly so and I recommend going with more than one person to try multiple dishes as they are all faultless.
Never had any issues. First went here with an entertainment booklet slip and since have retuned a few more times for brunch. It has a nice outdoor area so if you have a pram that's great!
Always exceeds expectations. Excellent service and our breakfast tasty and filling. Perfectly made coffees and reasonable price. Very impressed.

Last meal I had was soft shell taco with chicken, $15 for 3 good sizes bites. And a flat white with ice! Nice and creamy.

Nestled near the busy roundabout in Royal Oak (aka New Zealand's most dangerous roundabout) is Ristretto.
Have come here a few times, food is your typical cafe food. Nothing spectacular but they are your good go-to staples like Eggs Benedict, big breakfast, pancakes, etc.
Service is friendly, portions are good and cafe is clean.
I prefer to sit in the courtyard area at the back of the cafe. The inside of the cafe seems to dim and cramped for my liking.

This is a great cafe. Both the menu and cabinet food is sure to please most tastes. Had bacon and eggs and they didn't disappoint. A nice little addition to Royal Oak.
What an epic spot. It’s quite easy to miss Ristretto from the road as it’s a little hidden away, but don’t let that deter you. Walk inside and a nice spacious haven awaits. The coffee here is top tier, the service is brilliant, and it also has a nice outdoor area for the warmer days.

This is a nice little cafe with a good-sized menu and lots of cabinet food options. Our coffees were nice and we all enjoyed our food which came pretty quickly. The staff were super nice and helpful. There was plenty of indoor seating. However, it would be nice if there was some cosier booth seating along the walls. Reasonably priced for auckland.
I come for the smoked chicken salad, always tastes superb and a large variety of ingredients, service is quick and polite.
Pleased to find this lovely cage in Royal Oak. Slightly obscured from street but worth looking out for. Easy parking either on street or 2 hr car park on East side of Manukau Rd. Warm welcome. Pleasing art work on walls. Nice fresh and faux flower displays. Small and larger tables plus couches. Clean comfortable surroundings. Kiddies play area out the back. Magazines whilst a little dated just fun to browse thru reminding me there was household chores awaiting me. Yummy display of cabinet food and huge menu on wall. We had mocca tea chocolate caramel slice and the freshest carrot cake ever. Staff polite friendly and attentive. Eager to return for breakfast. Wheel chair access. Tables not cramped together..cold water readily available. well done keep up the good work

Cute little central spot. Outdoor area is nice and not too loud inside. Lovely friendly staff. The male batista made me a beautiful coffee and the carrot cafe is SO GOOD.

Good value for money and my preference for local cafe food and coffee. Not a fan of cake but i highly recommend you try the "carrotcake" it is perfection! Delicious $10 breakfast on the go pictured 🙌
