The owner was very nice & said I could have the scone instead of muffin with the coffee deal. Nice coffee too. Just filling in time befor a other appt. I'll have to come back here. Thursday 31 October 2019.
don't know why their rating is so low, I just passing by the restaurant and try their special lunch menu, small $7, medium for my boyfriend $9.5/
taste so good and price is so good, with this portion and taste, I can't recommended any other places.
I will definitely come back for their food.
Good place for a lunch in Auckland, in a really good location in Auckland Central.
Delicious food ( Chinese meals), with a reasonable price, good sandwiches and coffee as well.
Staff is always friendly, so I definitely recommend!
Very nice! The staff was really friendly and the food preparation was really good. Not that expensive either I have tried most of the items all of them were really nice.

Nice and close to work, thought i'd give it a go on my lunchbreak today. Nice updated layout, plenty of seating inside. Only one small table with 2 chairs outside. Usual range of products available. Pies/savouies, sandwiches, sweets/slices, salads and a hot smorgasboard. Prompt service. I got a medium size smorgasboard of Cajun Chicken Potato (it was like a potato bake, nice and creamy with cheese ontop, absolutely enjoyed this) and Sweet and Sour Pork (just average, nothing to write home about). I will come back just for the Cajun Chicken Potato, definitely recommend this item.
Came there on Thu (17/09). The place is very comfortable with natural light from the big windows. I enjoyed my $9.50 all day breakfast, and my coffee was lovely. Milk steamed nearly perfect. Staff are really friendly, even approached me on table to offer loyalty card (buy 5 coffee get 1 free). For sure, I'd love to come back.
Last week I went there for my lunch and I was quite impressive. I bought a cup of hot chocolate and some sushi. They tasted better than I expected. That was the best sushi I have ever eaten! The hot chocolate is also fairly tasty. There were also some other food I haven't tried yet. I would like to go there again and try them out.
New owner is very nice. Coffe is buy 5 get 1 free and the hot food in lunch time were tasty, especially pork dumplings and butter chicken.....
I recently came here to try Caffe Greco's chocolate butter nutrient breakfast and found out that the establishment had recently changed ownership and the nutrient breakfast was no longer on the menu. I decided to stick around though and try out their takeaway salads for work. I loved that they had a variety I could choose from and the salads were tasty and filling. I also came for breakfast early one morning and ordered the eggs benedict with bacon and a flat white. Breakfast was delicious but I would have liked less hollandaise..it was yummy nonetheless and that bacon mmmmm - nice and crispy. My flat white was perfect also. Will definitely make it my breakfast stop. Staff were friendly and helpful so kudos to the new owners!
Caffe Greco is one of three cafes that I tend to frequent at breakfast time when working in Auckland. As with the other cafes I always have muesli with fruit and yogurt and a latte. The coffee is Karajoz, a blend that I have generally liked and is well made. The muesli lets the side down slightly for one reason - that is that the yogurt is a tub of Fresh n Fruity and you don't get to choose the flavour (most often its strawberry). There is always a good variety of fruit which is served in a separate bowl. Most of the seating area at Greco is elevated and can be a bit too warm during the summertime but is nice and cosy on a cool morning. Smiles from the staff at Greco can be hard to come by.
Great place for a yummy and quick lunch, in my opinion.
A bargain price starts from &9.5 you can a Chinese style lunch box to go or a plate to dine in.
Not a fan for Chinese? No problems, easy Sandwich or Kiwi style brunch is by request to take your orders.
Very large venue, I guess even good for the corporate team lunch.
Anyway, great location, yummy food, reasonable price, efficient service, definitely an ideal place for office ladies and gentlemen.

Perfect riped banana in french toast, not too sweet and it was just right, less syrup gave full flavour so, i loved it soo much !
Eggs benedict was good too. Spinach was seasoned already so that was suprise, eggs were creamy and delicious. Just .. hollendae sauce was too much .. haha😅
coffee? I should try again ! Cuz.. in 5min i drank it all too quick😢
After all, everythong was great and love to be there again.

Been routine for a while near work for breakfast. Very friendly and great value . Scrabble eggs and a coffee $13. 40 Opens 6.30 and has the herald to read as well. News on TV but can't hear it
Greco looks pretty unassuming but actually the food here is pretty good. The sandwiches are packed full of fillings and are a great choice for a cheap CBD lunch or snack. Big fan of the option to grab a lunchbox to go with a selection of different meals. Worth stopping by!
