WARNING: IF YOU TRY THEIR RICE PAPER ROLLS - YOU WILL GET ADDICTED. I'm the biggest of their delicious chicken summer rolls. Seriously, I once purchased them for lunch every day consecutively for about two weeks. And even now, I still get cravings regularly for these saucy fresh filling rolls.
If you're looking for sushi packed with flavour, then you're looking at it. Sushi-ya is one of the best sushi places I've ever been to. Not only is the sushi cheap, it is always so friggin' tasty. At the cashier, you can ask for a swirl of yum yum (japanese mayo)! I'd highly recommend getting it drizzled on their yummy sushi. It'll make you go "sushi-YAYYY!"

Best ever I have ever tasted. Love all the different sushi they have to even accomodate Vegans....Its a little gem and I will be back very soon.
The best sushi place I have ever been to. Plus if you go just before they are about to close they do cheap packs that are always good for lunch the next day. Best place to go for a cheap, healthy lunch in browns bay!
If you are looking to have sushi in Brown Bay.I would definitely recommend going here.I have tried a lot of shops in the area but this one is my favorite .Yummy,fresh and cheap prices.The rolls are huge with lots of filling.

Had a lovely grilled salmon bento plate for lunch. Everything was beautifully fresh and tasty. This is only the 2nd time I've been here, as it has a very small shop frontage so easily missed, but now will be my go to when in Browns Bay.
Amazing guy who has the best customer service I’ve ever had, and of course the sushi is amazing. Probably the best place to grab a bite in Browns Bay.
May be the most yummy sushi you can get from Browns Bay, small shop but surpricely with so many choices of the sushi.

Sushi Ya Sushi is so yummy. 😋They have many kinds of sushi to choose. The flavour is wonderful and the shape is very professional. Their price is very reasonable. The man in the shop is a very kind and nice.🌸 I will definitely come next time and high recommended.👍
Sushi Ya Sushi is Brown bays, well kept secret, located on the main drag on 68 Clyde Rd. The selection of sushi is the best I've come across ever, (I don't say this lightly). Made fresh & worth bringing your friends to pick out your favorite delights of Katsu, or Nigiri to take & enjoy, on a picnic across the road, on the beach. Mr. John Yang is a very hospitable and friendly owner and welcomes everyone in with a huge smile. This was worth coming back too, go try it 10/10
Very friendly man who owns it (I think). I called up to check their closing time and he waited for me to arrive even though it was just past 4pm and he had specially saved some sushi for me! I’ve been twice and the quality of the sushi is some of the best I’ve tried. Very reasonable price too! Much better than those chain sushi stores out there (like St Pierre’s and Maki Sushi)
Some of the best sushi I’ve had in a long time. Aesthetically beautiful and the combination of flavors in each piece is extremely tasty. Topped off with lovely owners.
