We have tried alot of different places over the years and Rajwadi have the best curries, naan bread and samosas, along with friendly staff and great service - highly recommend
The spicyness of the Kadai Paneer is great! If you’re looking for a “kick”. Butter chicken is also good. A bit of crispyness would be better for onion bhajji. Over-all, food and atmosphere of the place is good! Would recommend
Lovely little Indian restaurant on Dominion Rd, food was good! Their butter chicken is nicer than lots of other Indian restaurant. If you are a butter chicken lover, must try here!!! Very friendly staff too 👍🏻
We went here with Zomato Gold for dinner. It's a small restaurant, lovely, warm and welcoming. The staff were kind and the curries were really good. We chose the chicken korma and chicken madras Indian medium spicy. The servings aren't huge but they are delicious. The naan was really nice too.
Very good food butter naan are awesome should definitely try their Bondi raita with mango kulfi just the perfect meal u ask for will surely visit again

Pros - Good food, friendly staff and clean place. Cons - Dishes are expensive for the quantity served. Other Indian restaurants in auckland gives almost double the quantity of what this restaurant serves.
Rajwadi definitely deserved 5 stars for our visit. Excellent service, welcoming and friendly. The owner gave my son a complimentary butter chicken which we didn't ask for.
We ordered lamb korma, chicken biryani, naan breads, mango lassi and masala tea. all beautifully done. Good size dishes, lots of lamb in the korma, full of flavors. I love these naan breads. One of the best in town. Even my mum a picky eater said she enjoyed her meal very much.
Good small place. Was here on a Saturday night for dinner with my partner n kid. Ordered Kebab as starter n chicken Masala tikka as mains with butter n plain naans. Food was good. Service n decor is good. Tried their Rajwadi kulfi too n it was yummy. Portions are a bit smaller I hope they can increase the size or portions. Overall a good place n good experience.
Very easy to book and locate, sitting area is quite casual and unique. Food was very nice. Staffs are very nice and friendly...menu was very up to date.
Great food, loved it. Will be visiting again.

A great zomato gold find! Came here for dinner and I cannot fault our experience, 4 of us tried a variety of curries at different spice levels & everyone’s were perfect. I had the lamb korma which was amazing, flavourful & the meat was falling apart. There was a lot of meat compared to some other places I’ve been too and it wasn’t all fat, it was decent chunks of perfectly cooked meat 👌🏼 Service was also amazing and you can tell they have great pride in their restaurant. Will definitely be returning & I will be recommending this place as my new favourite Indian!

Nice little place, open late. I ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala medium-hot, it took about 15-20 minutes but it was absolutely delicious. I've seen mixed reviews but I am very satisfied. My Tikka Masala is definitely not watery 👀 A little more pricy than most but for the quality and the late night service it is worth it. Friendly service with a smile to boot. I will be back!

Food was absolutely delicious. The Sahi Paneer is a must. Best butter Naan I've had in a long time. Friendly service from the owner. Oh! And the Kulfi was the amazing!
Excellent option for Late night dinner. Small and cozy place, there are only about 8 tables, which can be combined to make large tables that can accommodate may be upto 10 people. The butter chicken and garlic nan combo is excellent!. Beef biriyani was average. Tandoori chicken was also great!

We found this place through Batercard Directory as they take Bartercard - has since had repeated visits. They certainly know how to cook a fabulous Indian food selection, in particular,butter chicken is our favorite. So good that we end up with ordering two of buttwe chicken dishes each time following to the first visit. The service is warm and friendly. A place worth of trying.

Excellent food by wonderfully kind and caring people. Been coming back here for so many years and knowing that food is halal (from brinks) it really helps when looking for comfort food. His garlic naan is the best and love his butter chicken (lil spiced up version, you have to ask for it), beef vindaloo and samosa chaat. My family and I love coming here and my boys couldnt stop eating the butter chicken and were obsessed with the garlic naan.
