Such a cosy eatery! The soy hot choc was yum and the bacon and egg quiche came with a side salad and chutney. All the cabinet food looked delicious in fact! My friend had the couscous salad and it was a big portion which was great.
Popped in for a light lunch for two. Really tasty light bites with great coffee and attentive service. Will def be back as it's a great little store.

Good food and really nice environment. Out of the things we had, the bacon & egg quiche and berry smoothie really stood out. A little hard to find parking around the area but it's not too bad on a weekday.
As a regular customer, I've been impressed with the quality of Browns' coffee and their blueberry muffin that they bake fresh from the oven! At times where the cafe is busy, the coffee can be a bit of a let down. However, I absolutely love coming here to get my coffee fix! Their muffins and scones are worth a try.
Never empty and a pretty good range of things to eat. Options to relax outdoors or shelter at the tables inside where there is a good view of the kitchen area. Popular spot Which is easy to find. Makes a handy rendezvous.
Browns Eatery is my go-to coffee pick up in Remuera.
Why, because you don't even have to enter the store to order your cup of black gold. Brown's Espresso Bar opens up onto the foot path allowing you to chat to the barista as he brews your morning caffeine hit.
Serving up a good cup of Allpress isn't all Browns is good at too. They're expertise extends to they're carefully curated menu as well. Offering smashed avocado with feta crumb on 5 grain or Auckland's staple: Eggs Benedict.
With a modern interior and bustling atmosphere, in my opinion there isn't a lot to complain about.
If I'm completely honest, I often get told their service is "unorganised" and "inefficient" but in all my experiences there (and I am a local) I can't say this has been reflected at all.
Love their coffee and food! One of my favourite local cafe. A little pricey but understandable as the service is really good and their cabinet food is awesome. Their muffins are a must try!!!
Nice coffee & lovely interior. Great place to catch up with friends. Their home baking is also pretty good. Last time I tried their blueberry muffin, which complimented my coffee quite well.
Browns is definitely our favourite café in Remuera, and the added window display for Bastille day was very cute. The coffee was great, and there was a very wide variety of breakfast, lunch and sweet options. The salmon bagel, pea and feta salad and mushroom quiche were all great, but anything from the counter looked good. The lemon tart was amazing and the rest of the French baking was also very tempting.
I probably had the best omelette I ever had in Auckland, the ingredients were plentyful and it was well presented. My wife had the avocado and tomato on 5 Grains bread and she enjoyed it as well. Highly recommended place and we will be back.

Love the buzzy atmosphere in my favourite little cafe here. Today I ordered a creamy mushrooms on toast. The menu on the board said “add poached egg” and I did not realise that it had a tiny +4 next to that so I read it as “creamy mushrooms add poached egg”. My order arrived w/o the egg. I went to ask the counter and they explained it was an add on. I told my friend at my table a little sadly that it was the egg I was looking forward to. Someone must have heard me. Ten mins later and an egg arrived at my table and the waiter had the nicest smile. Thank you guys! I love the fact that you don’t want to disappoint a customer but your little gesture was surprising and delightful. Reinforces my vote for why you guys are my fav little local! X keep up the great job!
Best chicken sandwich in town! I only tried the chicken stack one, not the baguette but the bread from the stack was was lovely, perfect bites. I always go back for more. The almond cappuccino was also perfect! It is such a charming cafe, definitely worth stopping by if you are in Remuera.

Lovely venue, and even though I only had coffee, the food looked amazing. The venue is very attractive and is a hive of energy.
Just stopped for a cup of peppermint tea. Love the atmosphere and spaces here. Lots of natural light and not too noisy.
I was just impressed that they were open early enough for me on a Sunday morning & their coffee must have been great quality cause I had a busy day that Sunday and got through it fine.
Prime spot for people watching. Plenty of seating options. Coffee was well made and a decent brunch menu offering all of the usual suspects.
