Lovely service! I got a text to tell me that my order was ready which was really handy as Aucklands currently in level 3 & the weather today was terrible ⛈ the man that also serviced me was lovely, he thanked me for visiting which I thought was so nice of him and I don’t think I’ve ever heard this from an eatery before! They’re also FIANZ certified so there’s no worries of cross contamination ☺️

Went to nana's on sunday after reading the reviews on zomato. I have to say, this is going to be my go to fish n chips shop! Everything was on point and the fish dint have those thick batters which was amazing. awesome customer service!

This new little fish and chip shop is truly agem. The owner was so lovely and polite and we are definitely looking forward to going back. The fish was so fresh and very generous portions. The $20 special was more than enough for 2 people. Highly recommend this place.
great food whilst at a very reasonable price what more can you ask for, came here for a late night meal and was happy to see not only was the food priced well, the portion was nice.

First time visit this place, pass from the area many times but today I had the chance to try their food , I tried Fish burger combo, large portion, and tasty, highly recommend.
This place is one of the best places to dine in when you dont feel like cooking. Their delicious fish burger is one of my favourite food. Lovely customer service..their food are cooked for your preferences. Definitely it's a place to sit down, enjoy the food and the environment..its money worth spending..
First time here today 18/10/23 for lunch The fish was fresh, non greasy, i opted for battered hoki fish. Also the chips were lovely , great portion sizes. Will return and would highly recommend.

Was craving good, I mean really good and decent fish & chips and decided to look where the good spots are in Auckland. Nana’ Fish House was listed on the Urban List and to my surprise it was around the corner from me (my local). I’ve always driven past and the place does look unassuming but still gave it a try as it was listed on the Urban List as well as being my local. To my surprise it was absolutely amazing. Best Fish & Chips I’ve had in Auckland in my opinion. Now I come every now and then when I crave fish & chips.
I was told that this was the best fish and chips in Auckland, my God it was bestest and yummiest fish and chips i eat. The fish was so fresh and tasty, and it was so smelling so delicious that we eat without taking any photos but will definitely go again to buy more. Anyone craving to eat fish and chips this is the place to go. They have the best fish and chips, and its affordable too. The owner is so friendly and nice. Totally recommend to everyone, you won't be disappointed at all 😊
Great value for money.
The fish is AMAZING. Soft batter, breaks away easily yet still has a great shape and not soggy. Sausages were good and nuggets also great flavour. Chips were also great.

This place is so underrated, don’t judge a book by its cover! We’ve been here for fish and chips twice now! Fish is super delicious - melts in your mouth. Such good value packs that ensure there’s something for everyone. We got “F5” - 2x fish, 2x spring rolls, 3x nuggets and a scoop of chips for $21 which was plenty for the two of us. We will be back soon :)

Owner told us that he uses fresh fish and never used frozen fish. fish is fresh and generous in size compared to other fish and chips place. $9.99 for 2 fish+chips is pretty good value. we liked the flexibility to be able to change to twisted fries and kumara chips if u top up the price difference. we liked it so much that we visited this place 3 times during our short stay in auckland. first 2 times, was hoki, the 3rd time was another type of fish. we liked the hoki version more. twisted prawns had real prawn wrapped with popiah skin.
If fish could be less oily, if chips could be more generous it would be perfect.
when we found this place, the shop looks close as the interior was dark and no open door to enter, and after some figuring out, realised it's actually open. u need to go to the small window and request to order as owner may be busy cooking. we saw a customer walked away when they saw no one came out to take orders.

1 big piece of very fresh snapper (not like those from frozen freezer) wrapped with thin layer of crunchy pastry. No need extra sauce, just a little salt and lemon (provided). $13 per. Succulent! Highly recommended!
The worker there is very friendly. The fish and chips is the best we have had in Auckland and very well worth the price. Never disappointed by the service and the food. Highly recommend!!!!
One of the best fish and chips I have had in Auckland. The fish was very fresh and the owner is very sweet and humble gentleman who takes great care with each and every order. This is a hidden gem which I recommend everyone to try.
