Fries were quite good but had a little too much salt in it. The pasta had a bit too much oil(salmon pasta), the mushroom one had too much sauce too. Otherwise a good atmosphere for lunch.
The cafe is located on the fourth floor of the Kate Edgar Building at the University of Auckland City Campus. After coming out of the stairs or elevator, head across to the building beside it and it is just after the bridge.
The cafe is a postgraduate area but it looks like everyone is welcomed. There is a large dining area around the back and a really nice looking deck with outdoor seating.
The menu is behind the counter. They also have a few cabinet items. After ordering at the counter, they give you a number which you can place on the holders at the tables. They have standard cafe food. I went with the mushroom carbonara. the food was nice. The sauce was quite loose but did get a bit thicker as I kept stirring the pasta. It would've been nicer with a bit more mushroom flavour too.
It was a nice area for a seated meal at the university campus.
Went with a a friend for coffee. Good and ample seating available. One can sit in doors or use the deck area.
Really good tochos burrito and chicken tender sandwich đź’• really enjoyed it despite it being crazy busy (went around 12 ish).
However, really good overall!

Had breakfast here with a group of friends. One friend accidentally dropped his egg from his plate and it was replaced for free. Further to this we were also given a complimentary assortment of pastries. Absolutely fantastic service and the food was great. Would definitely recommend.
This is the postgraduate cafe at UoA and is seldom empty. Discounts are offered to PGSA members, which is nice---except everything is so overpriced that you'll be paying too much no matter how great the discount may initially appear. Although the coffee is alright and the fries are passable, the burgers are where it's at. For great, meaty, juicy cows in a bun, come here and treat yourself. The tables are quite close together so don't expect a whole lot of privacy in the main seating area. You may want to consider the couches on your way in if you want to work by yourself.
I come here a lot with friends. Great to study at. Coffees and food are all really really good, I've had a lot of things from their menu. Lovely staff, nice space
Great coffee, great food, awesome atmosphere and excellent service... what better location to study!?
My almost daily go- to are the sandwiches, a flat white and sometimes even the chocolate cake! Too bloody good !
