Legit, earthy, spicy, refreshingly fresh and exuberant flavours of Mexican cuisine š²š½ I can only assume people give this place bad reviews because they only know Taco Bell, or old El Paso - absolute culinarily ignorance! Open your mind and for the first time, taste the real flavours of Mexico ā¦ you do not know this food until you come HERE. Never mind the bollox - the warm, soft, a-maize-ing taco flatbread oh my lord!! Those tangy, succulent, dripping meats with the herbaceous, fragrant salads - just wow! Itās not a fancy place at all - grass roots, family run and the price reflects it. They just create exquisite food and have excellent staff. The place isnāt licensed currently - which sucks but if enough of us show support for this beautiful contribution to the Auckland cuisine scene we can support this small business until we have our fiesta of flavours alongside a cool, crisp Modelo cervezas (beautiful ice cold Mexican beer). If you go to one Mexican restaurant in Auckland - come here!!!!
Food a bit overprotective for the portion size, but overall it was a nice place to stop and have a meal. The staff is friendly, and the shop has an authentic Mexican feeling.
I was lured to this place after reading the comment of my friend Hannah and I couldnāt have done better. It was my choice of takeaway in the very first night we were allowed to have takeaways after a lockdown in Auckland.
I had beef brisket tacos and chips with guacamole. Itās full of flavour and makes you feel satisfied in every bite. I do prefer the chunkier guacamole but this one was also tasty and well spiced.
The place doesnāt share the same colourful and happy vibes of other traditional Mexican restaurants but the great food and welcoming staff will make you go back to try the whole menu.
Tried Beef Brisket and I liked Quesadillas type Vs tacos. Nice and welcoming staff.
These are the best tacos in Auckland. Great flavour and generous fillings. Comes with extra sauces to add - so good.
I just ate some wack tacos from Ponsonby. Wish I got Taco Bar but they were closed <\3

The tacos are fresh, delightful & amazing!!!! Would rate them a 9/10.
The passionfruit drink was also amazing, everything had so much flavour!

Delicious food, very friendly and helpful staff. Disappointing that every time i've gone in they're out of birria tacos, must be very popular! I reckon a bit overpriced considering the size and would be nice if they had Halal options :) Highly recommend people to go visit!
Just OMG!! Amazing, we ordered three different dishes and loved everything. Just real, fresh, authentic and divine šš¼ Love it, best Mexican I have ever had!!! I inhaled it and ate through the pain because it was simply delicious and the portion size is so decent. And thatās x4 people not just me š we will be back.
Easily the best tacos on K-Road, the Brisket tacos were delicious and guacamole tasty with jalapeƱos in the mix. Would happily eat here again, not a huge amount of seating the only negative, so ideal for takeaway or a casual bite. Friendly service too.
Tacos son ricos! Great birria tacos, packed with a generous amount of meat, topped with chopped onions and melted cheese! Helped me get through my Saturday in managed isolation. I will definitely be returning to try more on their menu. (They forgot to give me salsa though ;) )
