Popped in for a drink with a friend here and I got my usual - iced shaken passion lemon tea with extra lemonade. My friend had a white chocolate frappucino and both our drinks tasted good. My friend also had a vanilla slice that she didn't really enjoy as the pastry felt a bit like cardboard. This particular starbucks is usually quite busy so it does take a little while for you to get your order. There is seating upstairs which is good but they still use plastic straws so I think they should make the change to paper or metal.
Me and a friend got a frappe here this morning before heading off to walk around town and was quite upset with how long our caramel frappes but i guess it was okay considering there were so many people waiting for their coffees. All i could say is this Starbucks doesn’t make the best frappes as i’ve had better in others but was still good, a kinda bland taste tho. The ambience wasn’t too big but would be fine if there wasn’t too many people inside.
Quick and efficient!! It is always extremely busy and packed with people, but it is a place where I always visit to get the chocolate or caramel drinks.
Food: one of the best starbucks in Auckland. There are cheaper coffee stores but really can’t beat in terms of frappuccino range and taste. Prefer to get iced drinks at starbucks over hot coffee.

This Starbucks is always so busy regardless the time of the day. The drinks came out very quickly. I really enjoyed the hazelnut hot chocolate drink:) and it was first time Starbucks staff spelt my name correctly 😅
Staff were all friendly and looked like they were having a good time, place was clean and well stocked. The mint tea from Starbucks is the best mint tea around :)
I always order the same thing and they sometimes charge differently without explaining. When I ask they answer "the machine does not read a tumbler discount for now is this okay?" I would've said yes if they'd informed me before I ask.. anyways their drink is good
This shop always super busy and need to wait around 10mins to get your drinks. But quality is not bad, still a standard quality flavour.service is ok
Yes Starbucks is absolutely mainstream and somewhat over-rated. The one thing i can guarantee is that they do make very good iced lattes and coffee. If your wanting something sweet but don't want the added guilt try a iced coconut latte with 5 pumps of sugar free vanilla, this will change your world.
Came in today after lunch because friend needed some caffeine but instead we got the strawberry shortcake frap. The strawberry wasn't too sweet or strong. It was perfect. Whipped cream on top made it taste like a milkshake. They spelt my name wrong but the staff were friendly.
Warm and inviting Starbucks with comfortable seating. Friendly service and willing to answer questions. The steak and cheese hand pie was tasty. And I was game to try the hot chocolate with dairy milk because I've heard that milk tastes better in New Zealand.
I came here a few times and I can say that the staff is very nice ! Even when there are a lot of people, they take time and are always pleasant and polite.
Drinks are always good, my favorite basic for everyday : caramel macchiato !!
Nice layout of the cafe: two stories with quiet nooks with enough space to spread your things out. Can get busy and a bit loud, and wifi can be hit or miss, especially upstairs. Staff was consistently nice and drinks were always great!
Green tea is nice. I got the small size ($6.1) add oat milk +$1. It s always busy here :) Sometimes very long queue.
Consistent Starbucks quality with other branches.
Can get cramped due to space/demand disparity but if you get a spot inside it's pretty cozy.
It opens till 10 so that's good if you're a night coffee drinker, they'll give you a gentle reminder when they're about to close up in 10 minutes.
Nice place to chill when you are tired. Quite busy during rush hours so the waiting time will be a little bit long and sometimes the staff will get our orders wrong. But overall very nice!
Shout out to Peter who made sure we got exactly what we ordered and for being super friendly. He is a great guy and makes Starbucks Queen Street a favourite place to visit 😄 see you next time! ☕
Nice staff. Sometimes you have to wait - that’s the only cafeteria open in reasonable hours in this town… Most others close at 5pm…
No competition around.
Best coffee in town. They make the yummiest coffee, frappuccino, Teas, cold beverages. I have tried their many flavours like (Triple mocha, strawberry cream, cookies & cream, mocha java chip, white chocolate mocha ). All of them where so tasty, delicious & amazing.Bit expensive but quality and taste is really good. The staff was very kind and helpful. Thank you.
This Starbucks is located right on Queens street and has great service. Lot of places to seat and plenty of options for tea and coffee. The seating area on top is specially more relaxing. You can wear alone or with a group and it is just wonderful. Totally love the friendly service. In my opinion it is a good spot for a group date too.
