Sushi train has so much variety with very delicious items. Fresh ingredients and a reasonable price per plate. Staff are also kind and attentive to our needs.

I try to pop in to this small little conveyor belt sushi and ramen place every time I go to Oceanz next door to stock up on seafood.

Like:
1. The variety on their sushi conveyor belt - they have small portions about $5 each and a good selection of half bowl ramens and udons at $6.80 onwards so you don’t over stuff yourself with carbs

2. The quality of the sushi and sashimi is so but it you are after a quick Japanese fix - this hits the spot.

3. They have kids platters called a train plate that start at $6 with a drink, sushi and a small noodle or rice

4. They also own the Daruma ramen noodle chain which has five outlets in Auckland and a second conveyor belt sushi restaurant in Sylvia park opening soon.

5. Good selection of reasonably priced Japanese soft drinks and liquors and mini sized desserts

Their sushi is fresh and tasty. Their pork ramen is enough to fill your tummy with enough space for a couple of plates of sushi. It's quite expensive for what it is if you're not watching what you get and the takeaway ones look much smaller than if you were to dine in and not as much sauce. But staff is always friendly

I got a few plates of sushi, a mini Spicy Chilli Pork Ramen and a Japanese low alcohol fruit drink. They were all very delicious but the bill was $60. Wasn't expecting the bill to be this expensive, but I reckon the food was worth the price.

I've visited this place before, so today I decided to review it. There is a big range of sushi, sashimi and desserts, including tiramisu chocolate mousse, and cream puffs. My favourite sushi was the teriyaki chicken sushi. The staff are very friendly.

Great place to visit and eat good sushi. But be AWARE .. to take your time and eat to enjoy Do Not get caught up in the excitement of the conveyer belt. This can easily make the difference of a expensive meal to a very expensive meal :) Its a good casual place where you can hang out with your friends and take your time catching up over sushi. Dont be afraid to ask the waiters for what you like they seem to be hapy enough to see what can do to make it happen. The only feedback I have however is that prices for the plates should be noticable and not tucked away behind a water jug. The sushi is good sushi but I wouldnt go so far to say the best sushi. But to be fair I was in at the last 2 hours of service. So I round this off to a whopping 4 stars based on experience and taste.

I’ve had my eyes on this restaurant for quite sometime and finally decided to give it a go. Not disappointed at all! Great selection of sushi 🍣 I really enjoyed the pork gyoza 🥟 with special sesame sauce and takoyaki🥢 My first sushi conveyor belt experience, which I walked away looking forward to doing again and nice friendly staff.

This place is nice to go with you fam for a family outing since it's pretty chill 👍 The quality seems to have improved as well 😊. The clam type sushi's here are my fav and they don't have that unpleasant fishy taste 🥰. But I feel like the sashimi sushi here aren't the best quality since they aren't really firm and do smell quite fishy 😕. I recommend the spicy ramen or teriyaki udon ti wash all that sushi down with a soup dish 🍜. Overall a pretty good value and fun place to come with your loved ones 👌👌

Seem like this is the only sushi train style in east auckland. Came here with my young family a few times for dinner. Something different than just order from menu and waiting for food. Can see food circling around you and choose what to eat. Quite a decent selection of food choices. (Photos not uploading for some reason, will try again later.)

I've been here twice. This time I find they offer some new shellfish sushi and I like shellfish so much! The sushi are so fresh and tasty even without dip. The staff are so nice! So far, here is my favorite sushi shop in Auckland! Highly recommended!

Nice small cosy place, friendly staff and nice menu options. Tried the Prawn Udon soup which was nice. Didn’t seem nearly as much variety compared to Sylvia Park, however they did have a lot more drinks to chose from and other snacks and ice creams for purchase. Would try it again, but wouldn’t chose it over other branches.

Sushi train a fun experience, nice food. Expensive though, cost is X2 just buying the same elsewhere without the train. Small servings for the price but fresh. Pricing is by the colour of the plate

Family-friendly, kids love it here! Good mix of booth seating and sitting up at the high counter. So much fun and great variety, definitely more expensive than traditional sushi shops but nice for something different. The pork ramen (hot noodles) came in a very small bowl and cost $7.80 which we thought was a bit much, especially as there was only one tiny piece of pork in the entire bowl! 🍱🥢 But apart from that this is a nice place.

First time visiting the Botany branch. Food was good albeit a little pricey - paying for the novelty I guess. The staff there didn't offer us any water, but other than that their service and communication was good.

Great place for a bite. Booths can fit around 6 adults each. A novelty for the kids as they watch and collect the dishes they want to eat. There are some items you can order off the menu as well if you aren't keen on the sushi train. The kids meals are reasonable priced.

Pricey. However there are so very few Sushi Trains in Auckland that Daruma is comparatively ok. Some dishes are quite delicious, and there is a decent range both on the train and additional menus you can order from. Note: Be prepared to spend at least $25+ per person if you're wanting more than just a light snack.

Sushi Train in Botany, but they also serve other options such as Ramen, Udon and Sashimi you can order. Kids Train meal is cool for the younger ones. The sushi tastes fresh and price is dependent on the plate colour. No reservations, walk-in only. Booth seats only fit 6 people max. The takeaway sushi platters seems like good value for money
