Literally THE BEST takeaways I’ve been to. Their takeaways is never greasy, the batter for everything is perfect. And if you like potato fritters then this is the place to come because they have THE BEST fritters out. Definitely worth it!

This is the best fish & chip shop out west...possibly even the best in Auckland! They are always consistent and their chips are so so good! The salt n pepper calamari also deserves a special mention...it's amazing!

The best GF fish and chips I've ever had. Light batter and generous serving of fish. Delicious potato fritters. Ive been to numerous fish and chip shops around Auckland for GF and find most batters are to heavy. Not here. Thanks, keep it up 😊

Our favourite fish and chip shop! Being gluten free, I find it hard to find good fish and chip shops that cater to me so I was super stoked when I discovered this gem just up the road from us. It is pricier, but totally worth it - the seafood always tastes super fresh and their chips are great!

Variety! So many options I couldn't choose. Chips were good. Lemon pepper squid was good but I had to add fresh lemon to it when I got home. Mussels charged as 1 but 2 were in a serve. Fish was cooked correctly. They offer chicken salt and lemon pepper as alternative to plain salt. Tuesday Madness value meals are super cheap too!

The fish stop in Glen Eden has become my only fish n chip place since I found them. I am super fussy when it comes to chips and most fish n chip shops in Auckland have soggy chips. So I was very happy to find the Fish Stop does the perfect chips, soft in the centre and crispy crunchy on the outside. They will season with salt if you ask them and they can put chicken salt or lemon salt on them at request. I'm also coeliac and they do fantastic gluten free battered fish, again totally crispy batter and good thick pieces of fish. The best fish n chip shop locally out west that I have found.

Although they forgot to put chicken salt on our chips, these are still the best chips we have found! The gluten free Hamburger was also the best I have ever had, better than burger fuel etc, it was DELICIOUS.

In my opinion fish stop is by far the best fish and chips out west. The fish is always super fresh, I usually get hoki and scallops and they are fantastic. they use a batter that is light and non-oily and the chips are always perfectly cooked. Really great value for the quality you get. I love this place, hands down my favorite fish and chips in Auckland.

Delivery order. Very generous portions and food incredibly fresh. Crumbed Snapper was delicious, the batter on potato fritters some of the lightest, freshest and crispiest batter I've ever had, chips were tasty and the beef spring rolls also great. First time ordering from here but will definitely order again.

A proper fish and chip store run by real people. The fish is truly fresh and the staff are polite and well mannered. The prices are good for what you get too - this is probably as good if not better than the famous mongonui fish and chip shop up north. But with far more value for money. Keep up the good work.

Definitely "The best out west". Beautiful fresh fish and chips, and you can choose whether you want want salt or not and what kind of salt. The prices are a bit higher here compared to other fish and chip shops but they are definitely higher in quality too. They also offer gluten free batter and some delicious burgers that cost around the same as a McDonald's burger but taste a thousand times better.
