Got a pizza for takeaway and then went to the beach to eat it there. The Italian owner was very friendly and warm towards us and the pizza was very good as well. Will definitely be back to try the pasta as well.
Il Picolo is a great place to have a pizza or some pasta:) we always visit this hidden gem when we're after some good Italian food. The place is run by an Italian gentleman and his wife so your Italian dish will be indeed Italian ;)
I'm surprised at the low ratings here, it's definitely one of the best Italian places in the area. It's quite a casual place and dining in it's usually surprisingly quiet, but don't let that deceive you... the food quality is excellent. The fish with shrimps & creamy sauce is delicious!
We dined there again with some elderly friends on 17th June. This is a small restaurant and pizza takeaways run by a friendly and capable couple who couldn't be faulted for their care and attention. The food is not gourmet, but simple and tasty with excellent presentation. We've been there several times before which I think tells you something as I only return to restaurants where I enjoy the meal and the surroundings. It's more of a pizza take away than a restaurant but nevertheless I recommend it for a quiet, enjoyable evening with fresh satisfying servings. Also they are BYO wine which we consider a distinct advantage.

Very pleasant dinner for 4. Shared a pizza for entree and 4 mains of Pork, steak and risotto and penne. All were enjoyed and met expectations. Dessert, the men had some cassata ice-cream which they thought was nice and my little spoonful was too! (even if a tad expensive at $12.) Impressed we didn't have to ask for more water or wine glasses - they just appeared. Nice touch the owner and chef coming to our table after the meal. Place seemed fresh and clean and the service was friendly and timely. A place to return to soon.
Fantastic pizza always good and excellent value for money. One of the best around. Would recommend that you give them a try at least once, but you'll be back.
Il piccolo is my local. I've yet to eat something from these guys that doesn't taste divide. So yummy, so flavourful. Good sized portions. Friendly service. Easy parking. Not too hard to get a table. Easy for takeaways too!
Great little Italian restaurant, fabulous food, exceptionally clean and loads of parking. Il Piccolo really delivers, it has an extensive yummy menu and also does takeaways. Easy, casual dining, perfect for a weekly visit.
Piccolo in Italian translates to small or tiny. While it is true that this restaurant is small in size, it is big, very big, in every other way. This restaurant is exceptionally clean, neat and tidy. The staff are both welcoming, friendly and efficient. The prices are fair,and the served portions satisfying. The food is cooked fresh upon giving your order, and as a couple who have spent a reasonable amount of time in Italy, we can honestly say we have not yet tasted better. Some of their dishes are simply divine. After only one visit, this Italian restaurant has shot to the top of our favourites list.
Yummy pasta. We tried the Cabonara and Lasagna and both were very good. Ordered through Uber eats - didn’t know it existed before. I ordered garlic bread but that seems to be the same as the garlic pizza bread. Highly recommend. Takeaway orders usually ready in about 20 mins from ordering.
