Came here for a quick dinner and was seriously impressed by how much you get for the price. Love how much naan they give you. The potato cauliflower curry is amazing although their Curries differ from day to day so it might be a bit hit or miss. Some tables weren't wiped down properly and the decor isn't the flashiest but it's great for a cheap but filling meal.

Mithaiwala in city makes best paneer samosa. I have tried few times, it’s very delicious and very affordable price. I will definitely visit this place again.
Good variety on buffet and service is not bad either. Highly recommend Samosa’s and lunch Thali Deals. Recently the prices for thali have gone up but still value for money.
One restaurant that I like in Auckland is Mithaiwala, such tasty thalis and paranthas that you’ll not miss ghar ka khana. Pure vegetarian and the breads are absolutely delicious.
Lunch was 💯 so filling and only cost $8.50, every day Mithaiwala has a selection of vegetarian curries you can choose from and this is served with fresh naan and rice, lots of carbs including some slow digesting like chickpeas will keep you feeling full all the way until dinner.
Definitely go here- such a bargain and so full of flavour!
Went there with my mates... i was not hoping any restaurant like this in auckland ...
I was a very nice evening there for us ... 1st we try their samosa which was super delicious and then we ordered their traditional dish dal bhati and some kulcha it was lovely. Service was also very good I highly recommended this place to everyone .

Review based on only one product - Indian samosas. It was cold at first but taste was good enough. Staffs are just okay not too much friendly or something. Nice seating arrangements and nice ambience. Can try.

Great aloo tikki chat in the heart of city. It tastes exactly like the shops in delhi.But I could not get the same in sandringham outlet but the city outlet is too good

Saturday evening, I was looking for something sweet to eat and drink, which isn't easy in Auckland
I passed by this place, decided to give it a go, and I'm happy I did
There were lots of sweets, and several drinks too. They also serve regular food but this I didn't try yet
Having traveled in India for 5 months, I was taken back there, definitely an authentic one

I had an absolutely delightful dining experience at Mithaiwala, K Road during my first and recent visit. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and welcoming. But, it was the food that truly stole the show. Every dish was an authentic Indian taste. The service was impeccable, with the staff being attentive and friendly throughout the meal. Generous portions, making it great value for money. I highly recommend it to all food enthusiasts.
We ordered royal banquet combo meal for our family. It was great experience for us. I will suggest everyone must try various combo meal options. Wonderful place for get together.

We had thalis and sweets after. The curries were delicious and the servings were generous. The server was knowledgeable about vegan food and helped us make our selections. The restaurant is in an older building and has a no-frills atmosphere that focuses on the food. Would recommend for anyone looking for great Indian food in Auckland.

I got the mithai thali takeaway which includes two curries, naan, and rice. They threw in a free dessert for me which is nice. Unfortunately the place is all vegetarian and options are mostly paneer based. Both curries were average. The naan was massive. Lots of rice provided but not enough curries to eat it with. The dessert was amazing.
