We come here whenever I crave for a Hk style afternoon tea. They offer good value meals between 2-5. Food with drink for between $12-19.
The baked dishes are my fav ( beware the afternoon serves of baked dishes are smaller than the original ) Tasty food and drinks!
Nice food and fast services. Typical Hong Kong style cafe. Like their menu that have many selections.
Will come again. ^_^
「 corned beef with eggs on toast. 」
My long time favourite hk style sandwich, been craving it for a very long time and was delightfully surprised when they have this on the menu!! Reminds me when I go to the Markets with my aunt, she always treats me to this as she knows it’s my long time favourite.
Wondering where i got this? Just in Epsom! Wandered around the streets and went into Dragon’s Gourmet on Manukau Road, $11with Hong Kong styled milk tea! Perfect for an afternoon tea, I went at around 2.30pm, so their afternoon tea is between 2.30pm to 4.30pm. So if you fancy a late lunch and wanting HK styled food! Try this when you are near Epsom! Highly recommend it!!!
Location is good and so is parking as it is not too crowded around that area. Staff was friendly and food was served quite quickly.
Food was really good. Most dishes were quite nice. The portion sizes were also quite decent.
One of my favorite Chinese restaurants. An excellent spot for a quick bite located on Manukau Rd Epsom. Hong Kong styled food with a bit of creativity.
A great range of varieties of food and drinks. Quick to serve.
Highly recommend their seafood noodle salad, fish balls and clam pot.
The seafood noodle salad has a mixture of apple, mussels, shrimp with well marinated sauce, very refreshing. The fish balls are quite creative, half has a wasabi filling and half has a chilly filling, overlaid with a nice mayonnaise and teriyaki sauce. The clam pot is slightly spicy but well flavored.

Foods pretty good, better than what an average person can cook at home. Presentation is nice. Staff are pretty friendly too and they know cantonese, mandarin and english so its not too difficult to order. Can always ask for popular items if you dont know what to order, the menu can be a bit overwhelming as they have heaps of options. But besides that, you cant really go wrong with this place.

Delicious hong kong style food served.
Came in for lunch with my family and another time with my friend.
Had the Hong Kong Style bread with butter. It smelt amazing. The combination of the bread and the butter reminded me of my time in Hong Kong. Bread was soft and absolutely delicious. Baked rice was flavourful. Soup was not too dense or light. Bread by its side was perfect to dip into the soup. Rolls were crispy and. Curry baked rice was creamy. Milk tea had the perfect ratio of milk and tea. Would definitely come again!
Been coming here on/off for years. A standard Asian restaurant with matching service/ambience. I do like the food here, it always takes me back to Hong Kong. This time we had the ice lemon tea, ice milk tea, shrimp and crab net spring rolls, Japanese style flame grilled wasabi and chili fish balls, baked mussels and the baked pork fillet with tomato sauce on rice.
Everything comes out super fast and pretty tasty. The mussels don't taste fresh and took the longest but still good. The Japanese fish balls aren't fish balls, they are those mushroom dumplings you get in the frozen section at Asian supermarkets. They are done nicely but a bit like some of the other dishes, a bit pricey for what it is.
Overall I like the place and there really isn't a comparative place to it (food wise) in town.
If you are craving for Hong Kong style Cafe food, this is probably the best spot in all of Auckland. The food is delicious and the service is above average for Chinese restaurant. I wish they have expansive menu like other HK Cafe. I would be back again and again for sure.
There’s quite a strong scent when you walk in. Like perfume. Quite off putting when you’re just here to eat food because it contradicts the scent of food.
Apart from that, service is just like other Asian restaurants so I just speak Chinese to them. But that’s not the most important part.
The food is :)
Their portions are pretty big. We got the curry chicken bake and the pork tomato something bake. At $16.50 and $17 it’s pretty good. I couldn’t finish mine and I do eat quite a lot compared to other girls.
Love to come here to get my Hong Kong cafe food craving. Particularly liked the baked rice dishes, and the lamb casserole is yum.
Love coming here every once in a while. The food is great for a pretty decent price. Always check out for meal deals
Awesome service!! Awesome food, if you are thinking of having some authentic HK food and snacks then this is the restaurant that pops up in my mind instantly.
Their service is welcoming and friendly to all audiences! Kudos to the team that runs the restaurant
Unsure why the below comments were about the restaurant having unpleasant odours but I go there frequently like once per week and have found their.place to be very clean and tidy without any odours or bad smell.
Very friendly service, very authentic Hong Kong food, if you are looking for comfort food and want HK food, always have the food that I like and very good and friendly service! Keep it up.
The taste is really excellent !!!!Food was so fresh, tasty and not greasy at all like your typical Hong Kong Food.
Great little 茶餐廳, my personal favourite is the pork chop on rice 豬扒飯, but the extensive menu here should have great options for anyone. The set menu is always great, comes with soup and a drink. And the afternoon set menu is one I often get, between 2:30 and 4:00 (I think?) always with an iced lemon tea 凍檸茶 or milk tea 凍奶茶 if I need something stronger.
The portions are quite large and filling. The price is very reasonable. Service was good, had no complaints.
Enjoy the dishes; especially Tomatoes pork on rice, beef noodles in soup, coffee milk tea and also HK dessert.
Baked rice was very good.
Set meal “Fish Fillet with sweet corn sauce” is delicious. The fish fillets are very crumbly.
