This place is the bomb. Food is fantastic with very friendly staff especially the Saturday menu surprise. So come on all fb friends if you are in the Henderson area and looking for a bit to eat come on down to King Shakas. You won't be sorry.
We went here for a takeaway and were pleasantly surprised. The size of the burger pattie was enormous and tasted great. The spice on the crunchy chicken chunks was amazing. The price is reasonable, surely will be visiting this place constantly to satisfy my burger craving.

We definitely loved the service here, our favorite was definitely the burger tye paddies are like wow!! We also got the chicken and chips and loved the flavour ✊🥰 Also got a Mango thick shake 1st time in my life iv had one and it was dam delicious.. I waited a whole year to try their food and they did not disappoint 🤘👍 Cant wait to come back and have another amazing meal.. Thank you King Shakas

Portion size is biggg, one of the tastiest burgers we've had at a decent price. The guys in the kitchen are very friendly and helpful. Will try the chicken next time!!

Our friend brought King Shaka's fried chicken platter over and it was one of the best fried chicken we've all ever tasted! Plate was cleared in no time 👌😁 will definitely come back for more! Well done to the guys down at King Shakas
King Shakas is a must try! We had the Crispy Chicken Burger, King Shakas Bacon Double Burger, Lit fries and lunch box with spicy wings (like KFC wicked wings but better and spicier). All the food was delicious and very generous. Great value for money and the service is outstanding!
Had the bacon cheese burger with fries and a chicken piece. I was really happy with my experience here. The burger, chicken and chips are all top notch. Customer service was amazing.
Amazing stuff! So glad to be in proximity to this mecca of chicken. The snack box is big enough for me, a small and inactive woman. Next time I'll be getting exclusively chicken. Think KFC but better quality and more spiced. Excellent dudes at the counter too.

Their chicken is UNMATCHED, Best Chicken in all of Auckland city. Hands down best place you'll ever eat. Burgers are Amazing, Well done. Careful once you try it, you'll never want to eat anything else but King Shakas.

I ordered the Jalapeño burger for myself and a snack box for the hubby. The burger was 👌👌👌 I could tell it was done with love. Hands down the best patty I have had in a loooong time. The potato chips with the chilli powder I was very hesitant to share with my kids but even they loved it. And let's just say the chicken nearly didn't make it home to the hubby 😂 I definitely overate tonight!!! Glad to have had King Shakas for dinner. Thanks team!!! ❤️

Cons:
Only one... music. I personally don’t mind listening to track after track of hardstyle drum and bass 😂 but might not be everyone’s cup of tea.
That being said, the main reason you’re going is for burgers, chips and fried chicken and THAT they do well!
Edit: Came back again after 2 years and they’re still excellent! Added a photo of the burger I got too, look at that beauty!
So good! Really easy to order via Facebook and the team were super friendly! The food was fresh, treated with care, and absolutely massive (chicken burger and loaded fries).

If you live out west and love fried chicken, then get to King Shakas ASAP!! Their boneless chunks with spicy seasoning is on another level. And to top it off, they're friendly and quick to respond - Facebook message to order.
INSANE FOOD! Best burger i’ve had!!! If you love burgers this place is a must try! it puts any fast food place and many expensive burger places to SHAME! The customer service was also on par with the quality and taste of the food. The staff was super friendly and even asked me if I liked mustard as some people don’t.
