Excellent authentic Indian cuisine, better than in India. Prices were reasonable and the service was attentive. Roger is the owner and has consistently made amazing dishes over the years. The onion baggi was beautiful with a delicious sauce. I had the Damdar, it was perfect.

Great atmosphere, very friendly staff, food was great quality, spice level was suitable for the NZ palate but still offering a traditional level for those seeking it. Well worth a visit!

I was here to have dinner during my trip to Blenheim. The food was good (especially the starter). They had some decent selection of wines too. The staff was friendly and the customer service was good. Would recommend them! :) Cheers

We tried two different dishes (potatoes Saag was exceptional) that were equally full of flavours. The service was quick and efficient. Staff was very helpful in advising if dishes were suitable for vegans. Prices were very reasonable for the quality of the dishes. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Visited the restaurant for the first time tonight, it was easily the best Indian we have ever had. Great service, the host was a gentleman, and the food was quick and delicious. Currently visiting from Australia but would happily return for another meal.

Never disappointed! These curries are to die for. The restaurant in itself is charming, and the staff both caring and courteous. We have been to this place for over 20yrs now...the first Indian restaurant in Blenheim. We are SO fortunate to have Roger and his famiy in our community. I love our cultural diversity.😀

I've tried a lot of Indian Restaurants including all of the Christchurch ones and I've got to say I definitely rate this as one of the best Butter Chickens I've ever had, a silky smooth curry with a unique flavour. Garliic Cheese Naan is also on point. The only let down for me was the lack of chicken provided in the meal. If their was an option for a larger size it would be perfect, would be happy to pay more for it as the sauce is amazing.
