Stopped in for a quick caffeine fix in the afternoon and, despite the random time, the store was pumping. The layout of this store is great - multiple seating areas mean that even with several groups in there you don't feel like you are sitting on top of each other. Wifi was also a great perk!
Service was friendly and fast and my coffee was delicious. I chose one of their special flavoured beverages and it was tasty without completely killing the coffee taste, a problem I have had elsewhere. The only pain is finding nearby parking in this popular Merivale location - be prepared for a little bit of a walk.
One of my favourite Christchurch cafes...always visit when in town...another lovely breakfast there recently...great coffee, friendly staff.

Staff were friendly and helpful. I had coffee and brownie. Coffee was good and I enjoyed the brownie. It was quite busy and it’s quite a small cafe. Best to pick off peak times or it can be difficult to get tables. They have tables outside if the weather is nice.
What a great find! Exceptional lunch. I had a divine latte and whipped avocado foccacia. Lovely atmosphere and friendly team. Food as tasty as it looked. Highly recommended.
Nice cafe, but the shop could be improved or renovated, has been like it is for years. Being a busy shop, I am sure they are doing well enough to offer a nicer place!
Like all Coffee Culture you can get great coffee here. Coffee Culture Merivale is located on the northern side of the Merivale Mall on Papanui Road.
A small shop which means you may struggle to find a seat. But of course no problem as they can provide a takeaway coffee.
There is a good range of cakes, favourites and nice wraps.
Coffee Culture Merivale is certainly worthy of visiting if you have the time and want a great coffee.

Service here is great and the food and drinks are good. It's just a really small space, so not many places to sit and enjoy what you order. But the space itself is really unique!
Good spot. Beverages are good. Food is good. Then hours are great, the atmosphere is just fine, too, as are the team. And that's the thing, it is tough to put your finger on - but it is perhaps lacking a little je ne sais quoi compared to other cafes.
It's a hard one to rate this place because it does most things well, even very well and certainly nothing poorly or badly, but just lacks a vibe. Don't get me wrong, it's worth a visit - maybe you'll see what I mean. It's good, I visit, but not as often as other places as it's slightly soulless - in an entirely acceptable kind of way.
Lovely and friendly staff. Excellent customer service. Delicious chai and coffee. Great selection of food. We got the cake of the month (tiramisu) yum!! Really nice store and it was a nice quiet atmosphere for a Friday evening. I imagine it has a great atmosphere when it's busy too.

One of my favourite Coffee Cultures. The staff are so friendly and the atmosphere is great. It's in a really good location and you can always guarantee a great coffee.
