We had the special of the day, a vegetable soup, which was absolutely delicious. The employees were very accommodating, and let my friend and I split the meal in half to share. The view of the river from the window seat along with the decorations, ambience, and kind servers made this a super cozy and welcoming place to stop by. Perfect for a rainy day !
Vwry polite staff they were snowed under on xmas day but our wait was worth it. Menu from pre prepared shelf panninis and pies... But yummy.

Had the Santana & apricot scone which was good - asked for it to be heated which it was ever so slightly. If it had been warmer it would have been better as otherwise scones can be quite heavy. Flavour was nice.
Coffee was quite bitter - I don't normally add sugar to good coffee but I needed a little this time.
Great location in the city, nice clean attractive cafe with delicious coffee and even better food with good vegetarian and gluten free options too. I am a big fan of the salads in particular; roast vege on point.
Cafe itself is on the small side but there are some seating options outside. Will be fantastic once construction on the roads is complete.
This place is great - nice clean modern set up amongst the surrounding carnage. Food well presented and now this is how I serve my scrambled eggs at home. Prices are good and so was the hot chocolate. Not being local to the area I found this place on my last morning, would have gone here everyday if I found it earlier.
Beautifully decorated wee cafe a must to try especially their food so yummy. Sitting outside watching the world go by and the bird life near the river just beautiful
Situated slightly to the north of the Container Mall with views out past the tram to the Avon River. The outdoor seating makes a lot of sense on a warm spring afternoon. A good range of food, excellent coffee and friendly staff. There's a useful trifecta!
Excellent 'wonder woman' service. Scrumptious French toast although wasn't expecting the banana to be in the skin (maybe it's a thing? And it didn't detract). Generous pecan tart. Eggs Benedict was lovely but would have benefited from an extra slice of bread. Berry smoothie and oat milk cappuccino were lovely. Latte was nice but a bit small

From outside it looks like a normal cafe with standard food, but after you get your order you will be surprised by how exquisite the food is! We ordered from the breakfast menu, and each of the dish tastes delish! The quality of salmon, the toast and even the hash browns ate above average! Not to mention you can get a peek view of the classic tram from the cozy space. Oh and the muffin is so moisture and soft , full of the smell of raspberries in a bite. I’ll definitely visit again!
Lovely little cafe in the heart of the city! The staff are super friendly and provide excellent customer service. The cafe has a very warm and welcoming atmosphere. There's a great selection of cabinet food and drinks to choose from. We tried the Matcha and Beetroot Lattes and they tasted just as beautiful as they look. Definitely recommended for your central coffee and lunch fix!
This is our first time to this cafe. The food came shortly after we ordered it. The portion was slightly larger than what I expected. It tasted great. The coffee was ok. I had no complains. 😊4 stars 🖖

This would have to be one of my best café experiences in Christchurch. Super-friendly service, brilliant coffee (strong, but smooth) and the food was outstanding in taste and presentation. Pictured is the creamy mushrooms (after I'd started eating it), which I can't recommend highly enough. There's also a nice outlook over the Avon River.
Low key cafe serving local office workers. A good variety of cabinet food and cooked breakfast options. My GF salmon roulade was rich and cheesy, served with a side salad. Good value coffee and food.

Beautiful cheese and ham toastie! Wow, great price with heaps of melted gooey goodness on fresh baked bread. The service was good and fast. Highly recommended.
