First class bakery, with traditional (Spanish influenced) tropical baking, great contemporary kiwi-style gourmet pies, including inventive cross cultural creations. If you don't like their pork adobo pie, you are from a different planet!

I would say the Steak and Cheese Pie I bought would rate amongst the very best pies from anywhere in New Zealand I have ever eaten. It was full of soft and delicious steak and the gravy, soft cheese and superb pastry. OUTSTANDING 10/10 worth every cent.

What I love about this bakery is that their breads always hit close to home. It's literally the breads you can see and eat from a traditional bakery in the Philippines. Everything tastes the same! I live on the other side of town but I don't mind driving to Papanui for their breads. I definitely love the choco ensaymada, and always buy a bulk whenever I come in. Very weird of me but I don't usually eat the pork bun fillings as it kind of tasted off to me when I buy it somewhere else but when it comes to their siopao, only the paper wrapper is left lol. Hope they'll expand to other areas too!

Suggestion. Would you please consider making the Peach and Mango pies that one can buy from Jollibee outlets in the Philippines. They are so so yummy - but nobody here makes them.
