Love this mall! My creative team have worked with The Hub for a more than few years now & we can't say enough about the management, custodial & retail staff- always a fun, helpful & relaxed environment.. let alone the delightful customers! :)
I so reckon hornby needs a kmart and def a butcher in the hubb would be awsome along with a fruit and veges shop

First time here and enjoyed it. Ordered a cappa and hot chocolate - the best I have had for some time from any of the other outlets at this mall. Quick and polite service with a smile. The cheese scone and savory scone were delicious and fresh. A pleasent surprise to find this little outlet amongst all the other cookie-cutter coffee houses. The menu on offer looked very tempting and we will be returning again. Well done Esquires Cafe.
Tune down to a peaceful and calm environment for the perfect breakfast/brunch anyday of the week. Very welcoming staff and variety of food choices. Hot chocolate served with chicken brie cranberry panini just made my day! Would absolutely go back there for another breakfast.
On vacation to NZ and stopped by for cappuccino with my brother while waiting for family who went shopping. The capp tasted great and the service was quick and friendly. I will recommend this joint in a heartbeat.
One of my favorite haunts yummy date and cinnamon scones. This place improves with each visit. Love the environment when you require a nice space to think. Nice dietary options too
Pop in for a hot chocolate quite often and always find the girls very friendly especially Gasha. Food yummy and love getting the 10% off the cost for being a Gold card holder. Fully recommend.
The delivery of cakes and slices on display could be improved further because those items were there. Somehow, it was delivered late to me as though it has to be prepared first in the kitchen which was not be to the case. I do hope they take note.
Absolutely delicious food and plenty of choices. The staff are very friendly and very helpful. A must to visit, will definitely be one of our regular cafes.
Kind and considerate staff when using Healthpass for first time 🙂. Nice coffee but difficult arrangement in cafe for a post Covid world and social distancing.
I went to Esquires, Hornby Hub, for brunch with three friends. We all greatly enjoyed our meals and drinks. I had Eggs Florentine which has eggs served on homemade potato rosti. The rosti are really great. The eggs were poached to perfection.
On another occasion I had the Mince on Toast, which includes a poached egg. The mince was delicious having a full and interesting flavour. Maybe a dash of curry. It was served on two yummy slices of toasted ciabatta and had lettuce, etc on the side.
The atmosphere is quieter than many cafes because the coffee machines are out the back. It's a great place to read the newspaper and start the day peacefully.
Freddie and the staff at Esquires are very pleasant, polite, and keen to please.
