Went for lunch and had the rosti and ordered some chips. Got served a huge bowl and wife's mushroom bruscetta was very nice. ☕ is very good.
Also increased outdoor seating is great.
Gotta love this place. Where else can a dog take it's owner out for coffee and kids can take their parents out and someone else cooks the lunch. Our seniors can meet to catch up, enjoy the company of their friends and family in a place that is really easy to access and there is never a rush to get away.
The happy staff are always pleased to see you, whether it's your first time or you bring your owner in for a coffee every week.
The food is excellent, the coffee the best - I cannot think of a better place to enjoy the company of others or just some quality 'me' time.

The mango and strawberry milkshake’s that my children ordered along with the muffins went down a treat.
I could see the staff were really busy but the smile and welcome on arrive was great to see.

Excellent cabinet food, really good coffee and lovely staff. Notably, there was a good range of vegetarian, keto and smaller options in the cabinet. We had a gigantic cheese scone (hand for scale in the photo) with lots of butter, a small beef and pumpkin salad, a delicious cookie and coffee. My long black was gorgeous and all of the food was tasty. Lovely ladies behind the counter. We will definitely be back.
Great wee spot, plenty of 'easy' parking. I had the omelette - would not fault that, wonderful and fluffy as they should be. Staff friendly, good coffee and beautiful garden center to amble through afterwards
Totally excellent experience. The staff are really nice and friendly and are effective even on the days they are busy. The fact I can bring my dog (Monty) inside is a big plus for me as he goes most places with me. I use this cafe most days and eat about 75% of the time finding the food fantastic and excellent value for money.
Good hot coffee, but the concrete floor makes everything so noisy, we find that in a lot of modern cafe's not just yours.
Had breakfast at this great cafe this morning . Unquestionably the best cafe in this area. I enjoyed the perfectly crafted coffee, great taste and temperature. Eggs perfectly cooked. The atmosphere and ambience is enhanced by the warm, friendly staff , who are amazing. They take the time to greet and meet regular customers and new alike. I regularly have coffees here, and bring friends snd family and visitors to Christcurch here. It is dog friendly and has a relaxed outside area for warmer days.
I had my 80th birthday party @ your place & it was perfect. We moved tables to suit us. We stayed as long as we wanted. We had lovely food. Your service was great but not intrusive. THANKYOU.
Place was absolutely cranking when I got there. I had to wait awhile for my coffee but they warned me first - so all good.
