What a find! We wondered why it was so busy on a Monday night, until we got our meals. This is pub food at its best. Great food, beautifully cooked and reasonably priced. My blue cod had crispy batter, with moist, generous fillets inside. Couldn't fault it. If you're in Dunedin and want food like it used to be, try the Concord Inn.

Fabulous atmosphere for family birthday, staff very friendly and helpful, took own bday cake and no problem with kitchen to bring out after dinner. Quick service and meals brought out promptly, large portions, highly recommend bluecod and sole fillet meals. Great value for money and definately recommend, will be back.

Simple pub food, but tasty and big portions. If you're thinking about going on a Saturday night, it might pay to book a table, as this place gets busy.

Was disappointed with size of my blue cod today wish I had taken photo. Ordered small was more like snack size. Will order a medium next time was beautifully cooked though 👍

You get what you pay for. The steak was cooked to my liking, which was good. I've been there a fair few times and the food is always about the same. Nothing to write home about but you leave feeling full. The atmosphere is that of most pubs in New Zealand. It's probably only good to take your family there, not a date etc.

We were there on Tuesday night, they have a great $10 steak night on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, didn't know what to expect with it being so cheap, it was sensational, lovely juicy steak with homemade mash, you can add on sauces etc. if you want for a couple of bucks extra, 6 of us at the table, all very happy and full, but we found room for desserts, homemade apple pie with ice cream was heaven and the chocolate cake was sinful, all in all a great meal, great friendly staff and great value, I think we have found our new favourite spot.

Bad as can be. Went their on a Sunday night. Loud, bad food, bad service and lack of friendliness. The food took about 45 min. I ordered Ham steak....<br/>That is not a ham steak that is dog roll with a lame excuse of chips. Do not risk going their. it was dear and you got nothing

Gosh, what a nice place! Seems they've recently begun operating restaurant 12-2 Tue-Sun so I visited for the first time. Service was great, friendly and helpful, and atmosphere was comfortable, including a covered smoking area.<br/>I had a roast beef, $14, very nice. Carrots prepared in some way I'd never seen (glace?) and "pompoms" which are deepfried(?) potato balls - obviously the chef is creative and competent. And dessert, $5 - again tastefully prepared. I'll be back.
