Feel Food

Excellent food. Tandoori chicken on sizzling platter, achari chicken curry with roti, naan n rice. Chicken was so tender n well cooked. We extremely enjoyed it. I cant remember of any Indian place in Auckland of this quality. Good service n good ambiance. Recommended. Will go again for sure.

During my trip to Dunedin, I have eaten in this restaurant multiple time with my family. I love their kadai panner with garlic naan. Definitely best restaurant for authentic food. My family had chicken biryani and maharajas curry. Everything was absolutely delicious. We were large group but they accommodated us well. Staff are friendly and ambience is nice too. undoubtably best place to enjoy authentic food. Only complain I have is they were busy and table next to us was quite loud. But they located in the heart of university. So not their fault I guess. Overall pleasant experience. Will definitely be back on our next Dunedin vacation.

Had "The Banquet" from here. The portion size is big enough and everything included in the banquet was yummy. Usually they are busy,but this time, we got quick serve.

This place do not disappoint. Hands down to best indian restaurant in Dunedin. I have been too few Byo here. We throughly enjoy our food and service is excellence too. highly recommend.

We went to The Maharaja on a Sunday night which is when they have a special price of $14 for any standard curry. Our family of 5 had a curry each and the food was absolutely fabulous. The down side was as it was busy the food took a while but definitely worth the wait. The decor is a little ragged around the edges and certainly not flash but the great food eclipses all of that
