If you are looking for great Indian food, full of favour and worth the money. You should try Indian Twist. We think this is the best Indian food in Dunedin. Our daughter loves their butter chicken which they have kid size too.😍

Ordered 3 different meals and yes they are a bit lemonish but that is the twist. Food was well cooked, presented well & priced well.
Not local to Dunedin but this restaurant definitely is a place to visit.. also has bar on site so good for few chilled ones.. noticed it also has a takeaway side.

I came to Indian Twist with a few friends before heading back up to Timaru. I spoke to staff about what they would recommend. I tried the Lamb seek kebab with a twist for a starter and Lamb Korma for main. This has to be the best and tender lamb dishes I have tried. The hospitality was also fantastic. Recommended for a great night out. Thanks Indian Twist.

Awesome food with great service. We went as a group of 5, and every dish was amazing. We've eaten here a few times over the past 2 years, and I think they've been changing things up - it definitely getting better and better!

Decent suburan Indian restaurant. Decent prices and parking availability. Only about 2kms from the city centre as well. Food 3 out of 5 stars for me.
Lamb sauté (starter) highly recommended. I have tried Paneer, Chicken and Lamb curries there over time and I feel their chef is good with lamb dishes. Rather than a formal dining experience, I am more fan of their bar (beer on tap!) with starters over a casual evening.

Excellent tasty Indian food with just the right amount of spice. I usually order Lamb korma which is excellent and Chicken tikka masala. The samosas are good too. Nice friendly staff and pleasant clean surroundings. Do try it

great food, we were a bit apprehensive initially as the restaurant was empty but seems that was simply because we arrived quite late. the food was awesome, everything was perfect. keep it up guys!

Authentic Indian Food at fair price . Better than any Indian restaurant in Newzeland and Australia , I have tried many Indian restaurants but this palace tick all , mouth watering food, less wait and friendly staff.

Ordered a butter chicken, chicken tika masala, garlic naans, Samoa and onion bahjees. The samosa's are the best Ive had yet! Full of meet and the right level of spice. The curries were also very good and the naan bread was so good. Only place I've gone to for curries and its the best.

I have got take aways from here and dined in many times, 9 times out of 10 the butter chicken i order is very good. i have not ordered much else. would reccomend the mango lasse also.

Always amazing, we live in dunedin and have tried other indian restaurants and have never found one as yummy as here. the owner/manager at the front is a little bit shy but has a heart of gold. in terms of food Try the butter chicken and their new chocolate nan bread you can't go astray. they also brought in a chicken wrap idea not long ago and its extremely good value for money, would recommend it for anyone. Shree has gone from being our reliable local to our regular curry Gem. despite moving across town we will always drive to go back.

Tonight I ordered chicken madras and it was excellent, full of flavour and I liked it too that they asked me how hot I would like it. <br/>The garlic naan was a great naan, not too thick and bready like some other places! <br/>Seasonal vegetables are delicious 😋

Came down from Auckland for a weekend. Got takeaway from here - top notch Indian food! We had the chicken tikka masala, lamb madras, butter chicken, garlic naan. Highly recommended.

I'm pretty fussy about curries and I loved these guys butter chicken <br/>My husband also loved the butter chicken, though he woukd prefer they<br/>didnt cut up the naan bread were as I liked it cut up. We will be going back.

We eat Indian food regularly wherever we are and this had to be the worst. It used to be called Tandoori Palace and they have changed their name to Shree or something similar. Tandoori chicken entree - the chicken was obviously reheated as anyone who has reheated chicken knows that particular taste, like wise with the chicken biryani the like of which I've never seen, if I wanted stir fried chicken rice, I would have asked for it. The better half made an attempt at one prawn of the prawn jalfrezi main then resorted to the tough naan bread. Service was friendly if a bit casual -dad of the family in sweater and baseball cap and waitress didn't know the menu at all. Won't be back.

This is a great restaurant. I eat Indian food all over the country as I travel regularly and I have to put up with thin sauces and variable spice not to mention poor service. This restaurant in my home town produces good quality consistent meals at very reasonable prices and with a smile. Keep it up. Nice one.
