Had a good breakfast. Eggs Benedict with bacon and greens were tasty. I was surprised to see some unusual green in my plate 😋. Date fig loaf was extremely good. Cappuccino was ok.

Best cafe we have been to recently in Dunedin! Great location & view, we went up to Rotary park afterward for a great lookout! Great Allpress coffee, and really amazing food! The staff were friendly and accommodated my prevent wife's dietary requirements at a busy time, the atmosphere was spot on. We would definitely return, especially for the salmon & pulled pork.

Always a great variety of slices, cakes, savoury treats, salads etc. Slices so yummy. Lovely staff. Order at the window, but that's not a problem. Still getting that wonderful Tuppence Cafe experience.

can last Friday after I drove up from Invercargill.The fig date and walnut loaf was yummy. Lucky it was a nice day to sit in seating that is built in.
I wouldn't come back if you don't open the cafe up.

This cafe is a gem! It has a lovely atmosphere and is clean, tidy and warm. Friendly staff. Lots of sugar free, raw slice options as well as gluten free vegan options. The food and coffee are consistently of a very high standard. Well worth stopping in if you get the chance.

We LOVE this cafe and make a point of coming here whenever we're passing through. The staff are delightful and more than happy to make minor adjustments to their menu to suit your requirements. I highly recommend the French Toast, it's the breakfast of champions! The cake cabinet always looks delicious but we've never had space to try anything - maybe next time!

Lovely north facing location, this place is super cosy on a sunny day. Love the little touches like the sound absorbing tiles on the ceiling, so many cafes are an echo chamber that make conversation impossible, not Tuppence. Now to the main event, the food and coffee both are fantastic! The team were genuinely friendly, this place has it all. Easy 5 star rating this one.

Went here for lunch on my birthday with my girlfriend. The meals were excellent. She had falafel and I had a chicken and bacon salad -- both special daily menu items. Both were amazing. Good to see a place which puts some real thought and creativity into its menu. The raw slices are good too but they are more filling than expected so we didn't need one each.
