Super friendly staff and great flavors. They helped me pick the right combo of sauces for a spicy but flavorful burrito. Go early - they were sold out of chicken and pork by the time I got there.

Its just an awesome little eatery, serving genuine texmex style street food at excellent prices. Kim and Matt are bombastically friendly, the food comes out fast and they have treats for your dog!

I can not recommend this place more highly! The food is phenomenal, and I dare anyone to find a better jalapeño cornbread. The staff are so friendly, and welcoming. The love shines through in the cooking. As a native Texan, my heart was so happy to find a taste of home. If you haven't already, head down and get a taste of Texotago. You will not regret it, and I reckon you will be back for more!

What an adorable wee place! A very cute, vintage sort of aesthetic and lovely polite servers, this is a very pleasant place to go. I catch the bus right outside (very convenient!) and I find it's a great place for a filling snack with reasonable prices. Would recommend!

What a wee gem! Outstanding friendly service. Had a yummy burrito served on Sustainable ecofriendly plates. Best tex/mex street food in Dunedin. Menu great. Prices very reasonable. Shame opening hours not more extensive. Would highly reccommend, and definitely go back again

Gawd, this place is a hidden gem for any expats in the area! The pico is absolutely on point with that freshness and little lime zing. The pork melts in your mouth and their quesadillas are just fantastically cheesy. You HAVE to try this if you're from the States and missing Taco Tuesdays!

Staff are incredibly friendly, but more importantly, the food is incredibly good! Hearty, well portioned, and well priced - I'd eat here every day if I could.

Reasonably priced, filling, flavoursome and genuine food with the genuine friendly service to match. Do yourself a favour and get lunch at Johnnie’s, or as I like to call it El Flavour Town!
