The authentic New York pizza in Dunedin. Tasty and crispy. Will try other flavours. I like they have parmesan cheese, dry herbs and chili flakes on the table š help yourself to enjoy them. Not a cheap price but worth if you can use a promotion. Good service and nice place.
Loved it. Pizza is good, really tasty toppings and base,.not soggy and a good amount of crunch. Ingredients are excellent, the cheese is good and has some chew. Pepperoni and Italian sausage both really well seasoned.
They're happy to mix and match slices and half pizzas to get you the combo you want. They'll even accommodate no cheese!

Yum! Between x2 people we spent just under $60 dollars. We got the full pizza, six garlic knots and a pepperoni wheel. The smell of the food was absolutely divine. And the food certainly didn't disappoint. Plenty of flavour and cooked to perfection. Enough food for two meals , dinner and lunch the next day. Their may be a wait on your meal but it's worth it. Will definitely be going back
Got a pepperoni slice here, was perfect. I couldn't say anything bad about this place.
I love the fact it's served on paper plates too that makes it feel really authentic.
Went here today 2nd June 2023 around 3-4pm, am pointing this out because the girl that was working(donāt know her name) is an absolute GEM, I had ordered and it was going to take 15 min to be ready so I went to wait in my car, set a timer, the girl that was working brought my order to my car because it was ready early, seems small but that was by far the best customer service Iāve ever experienced!!!! She was so lovely and kind. Made my day. 10/10 because of her
Appreciate the homage to NY style pizza. Wish the meatball option was avail when we were there but it wasn't available.
I was kind of surprised to see an NY style pizza place in NZ and didn't expect it to actually be like New York pizza. I was pleasantly surprised that it was very good and totally like New York pizza.
Very few patrons. ? Related to student exams. Did not brew coffee to accompany excellent pizzas.
We engaged Sal's for hosting for the final event of our Reunion weekend for a group of 20 people.
They were incredibly accommodating of our food needs and group size. We texted the arrival time, and they were ready with food, and accommodated our drinks needs as we arrived. We were really impressed with the service and friendliness of staff.
What separate this joint from the others Salās pizza is that this one has a bar where you can have some beers, pizza & watching a live game on TV. Very clean & relaxing place.
