We immensely enjoyed our lamb shank and butter chicken curry (we love our curries spicy so we asked for extra hot and they didn't disappoint!).
The White Pub food was spot on! And their happy hour prices were welcomed too! It was so much better than Betsy Jane restaurant down the road.
Wow!! Had one of our favourite meals here in New Zealand. After a long day of hiking and driving we enjoyed the carbonara and cheese bites. Super friendly service as well.

After a long trek, a good meal is what you need. Excellent and very friendly service, big plates and good price. Happy hour beer&wine 6p.m. til 8 p.m. 👏👏

Great wee pub. Have been two days in a row and would be going again if we were staying longer in the area. Happy hour is 6pm-8pm which makes pints $4.50 each. A total steal! Stayed and drank lots. Food is also great. Chicken burger with bacon and aioli with chunky fries on the side just hit the spot. Staff very friendly and bar staff expert at pouring a great pint.
Lamb shanks are to die for, totally melted of the bone. My meal was hot and it was yum. Considering the place was full, and more people were arriving, the staff were a great team even working under pressure. I recommend this place everyone wanting a great ordinary meal. Thank you for your time. Good job, well done to all staff.

Friendly staff and decent food, nice stop when in fox! Happy hour is a steal so make sure you're around for that. We left well fed and rested. Hope you have the same visit of this quaint and true NZ pub experience.
Came here tonight for dinner with everything sadly shut in Fox Glacier after COVID, we were so happy to find this place. My lamb shank melted off the bone it was so well cooked. My boyfriend had the cabonara and was very creamy and delicious. Chocolate fondant was a great ending.
