Excellent option. Having lunch by the vineyard is pretty special. We were a group of 10 celebrating the end of the year. They had several groups in different areas, a very busy day. However, the crew managed very well to serve us. We all enjoyed food, beers, wine, an awesome selection of ciders and the atmosphere. Definitely worth it.
Very interesting wine tasting with background info. The time and effort David took to explain to us the specifics of each of the wines he makes was really special. Will enjoy his sparkling Pinot Gris for New Year. Cheers!
We have just been treated to a very special wine tasting hosted by the owner, David. Fabulous presentation by a passionate owner, to compliment the fabulous array of quality wines.
What a great surprise! Amazing creative food - the choux dessert was spectacular! And all of this while tasting a few wines, recommend the spiced ribs with the Gewürz!
We had wine tasting with cheese and bisquit platter during a bicycle ride around Gisborne. The wines were great and the hosts provided excellent and educational facts and background about the wines. A couple bottles were bought as takeaway. It was a warm and welcoming encounter, highly recommended.
I can't speak highly enough of this place. We did the wine tasting, and had a meal. The Vinyard owner was just so passionate about presenting his wines to us - he had us captivated. We tasted six wines for $7.50 nz per person, which we thought was very reasonable and the food was exceptional.
Absolutely amazing. A fabulous boutique winery. $5 for 5 wines and great hosting with them. Also dined and the food was superb. Desserts devine. A must if in Gisborne.
A really nice place for lunch. Mains were very good with excellent flavour combinations. But the dessert was exceptional. Amelia Sparkling Pinot Gris with lunch went down very well.

We had an absolutely delicious lunch here on a rainy day when they were understaffed and busy with a large group booking. Despite this, we still received good service and their flight style wine tasting was still available (for a very reasonable $12 pp). I would highly recommend coming for a great lunch - and I’m sure it would be twice as good on a nice day.
