The most iconic traditional Italian food I have ever tasted - all Italian staff too so they know their stuff! My plate was left squeaky clean. If I’m even in town again I will only be coming back here. Loved it
Very friendly staff and great service! Went with my partner for a quick dessert during peak dinner service on a Saturday evening, however we were accommodated for and had the most delicious tiramisu. We will definitely be coming back for a meal. Thanks!

I have now been here twice and both times i have been blown away by Alessandro's amazing service and there truly spectacular food. It certainly has my pick as the best restaurant i have been to and by far the best in Hamilton.
i don't know how these people that have rated it poorly can do so it really is fantastic, small homely feel about the place makes you want to come back

Initially they got my order wrong (was very busy that night), but they rectified instantly & apologized profusely even offering a complimentary drink. The food was amazing, had that home-made appeal to it. Will definitely be going back when in Hamilton!
Decided to eat here on spur of the moment, but encouraged by other mm reviews.
Arrived 6.30 and the place was empty so retired to a bar up the road for a predinner drink. On return discovered the place almost full and buzzing - and this was a sunday night!
The food was plentiful and tasty, good ''honest'' italian fare and we were attended to by a friendly waitress throughout the evening.
A nice touch at the end when the chef came out to chat to us, and try and convince us to have a pudding (next time for certain as we were both absolutely full up on mains of gnocchi and canelloni.
Definitely a family bistro type place that I'd take the kids to next time - and lots of the menu I'm looking forward to trying.
Stumbled across this place, and really glad we did. Our waiter, Alessandro was extremely friendly, cheerful, and helpful, despite being pretty busy!
Both really enjoyed our food: bread and dips were delicious, and a good starter for 2. Gnocchi blu was delicious (but very rich - be warned!), and the special of Fettucine with chicken and mushrooms was very much enjoyed by Mum.
Can recommend the limoncello cream for a digestif after dinner. :)
Hubby and I went here a few weeks back. We had an amazing meal here - was very authentic - staff, atmosphere and food. Would recommend...in fact we're going back this weekend with friends of ours from our of town. It was that good and we eat out a lot!!
Our meals were nice, but not overly flavoured. It felt a little underwhelming. Service was friendly, but not very polished.
As I was new in town ,I really wanted to try a good pizzeria .And this one met with everything I want ♥️ Good food ,Good atmosphere,Good service 👏

Had a party of 6, visiting from the U.S. Great experience. Food was excellent, as was the service. Server recommended two wines: Durvillea Marlborough Pinot Noir and Maren Hawkes Bay Riesling. Great wines - loved them both. All said, we really enjoyed the evening.

Best Italian food we've had in New Zealand. We had the pasta special, lasagne and a pizza, and they were all excellent authentic Italian food. Great service, plus excellent Italian beer, a must visit if you are in Hamilton.

This is the second time I've been to this cafe for dinner.
The last night the restaurant was fully booked when I entered instead of turning me away. Asked if I would be happy to serve it the bar for a meal since I was by myself. I was more than happy to do this I think that this was just an incredible level of service considering most places would have just said sorry Asics available and showed me the door.
Put on trial are garlic bread covered with olive oil marinated tomatoes and basil was wonderful followed by medium rare sirloin steak covered in mushrooms with a side of chips and seasonal vegetables.
The vegetables in this main dish were superb. They were the best vegetables I have tasted with a meal for quite some time.
As a coincidence I ended up in this restaurant by mistake I was supposed to go to the Italian restaurant next door and try their steak. I will have to go there tomorrow.
Highly recommended and I will be back for a third time.
Omg, this is something fantastic. It feels like little Italia in Hamilton. Such a delicious cuisine. We've got a brilliant pizza with a great balanced taste and pasta with a fabulous sauce.

Good food, but quite overpriced. Anyway, it's waaaaaaaaay better than the other Italian restaurant we went to here in Hamilton (Portofino - worst restaurant I've been to in NZ - this place is outrageous). So, I haven't tried Adriana's yet, but, so far, Caffe' Centrale is the best Italian in Hamilton in my opinion.
