We love visiting Havelock North and one of the things we like most about it is being able to go back to this fantastic restaurant. It had increased in size since our last visit and got even better with it. Slick friendly service, great wine list and wonderful Tapa style food. Must haves are the Pork Belly, Bang Bang Cauliflower and Artichoke. Somehow made room for Dessert and glad I did, the Brulee was yumballs. Go there.
Always YÜM! I'm very fussy with where I go to eat. Sarah is amazing and her team always steps up. Service and quality of food is always what I go back for. Oh and a couple of glasses of good wine 😋
I used to live in Hawkes Bay 4 years ago and this place was awesome. Came back for old times sake and it was still awesome. Lovely new menu Witt more variety, but the same old faves (arancini and the pork belly). Was very loud when we came due to a group that was weirdly milling about and didn’t sit at their table, but that’s not really the restaurant’s fault. Will definitely come back when I’m in town again!
At first I was a little unsure about what to expect due to the rating on Zomato being a average 3.2. I had no idea what kind of food I was about to enjoy.. boy was I pleased! Lots of little dishes to share inspired by many different origins and flavours. So much flavour - so good! I'd love to come back here! I wish they had something like this in Brisbane. Delicious!
Unfortunately I can't tell you what the dishes are by their names on the menu because I was lucky enough to just sit and be ordered for by my grandparents!

Had a wonderful meal here with my partner. The food is delicious and creative, although it is a bit pricey, it is worth it. Would highly recommend the crab rangoon and duck burrito bites. The atmosphere is relaxing and the staff are friendly and helpful.
Second time I have been here and both times the food has been fantastic and both times the service has been subpar to say the least, which is why I have rated it 3.5! The pork belly with pomegranate is both crispy and flavourful and the salads (both the Beetroot and Haloumi) are delicious with very interesting combinations. The only thing that let this place down was the service. We would have had more wine if the waitress had bothered to ask us and we would have asked them ourselves if we had seen a waitress walk by after they had given us our food but they seemed to disappear completely! On both occasions dining here we experienced the same thing as well as no enquiry as to how our meals were. A shame as this place does have great food and the service is the only thing letting it down. Maybe some training for the young girls wouldn't go amiss!
Fabulous atmosphere, food & beverage lists - hard to go past the classics, Pork belly with pomegranate & s&p squid etc though always new seasonal things to try - vanilla bean scallops & garlic prawns w red chimichurri were delicious. Awesome & extensive wine list & inventive non-alcoholic options for the drivers! Dark chocolate salted caramel tart was to die for!!! Totally looking forward to some summer afternoons on the beanbags here...
Yes...this is another trendy place to go. I know why. The wine list is good. The food is delicious! It is pricy though. You order a few small plates and the bill creeps up. Still, the owner, Sarah, is lovely and vibrant. Staff are always good! Can't fault the place. It is especially nice when its sunny
Hi! I'm gluten free and had an amazing experience here tonight. The pork belly and halloumi salad that I ordered were both incredible and the staff were very knowledgeable about whether or not the dishes were gluten free. If you want somewhere with all five stars ... Friendly Atmosphere, great service, good food, the best wine selection, reasonably priced ... then Deliciosa is the ONLY place to go!
I love that these guys use local and seasonal produce and the selection of wine is the best in The Bay.
Four of us chose this restaurant to celebrate a birthday and for a meal prior to attending the opening night of The International Film Festival. It turned out to be a perfect choice. The food was superb, stunningly so. The service was outstanding, helpful, obliging and very efficient. We all thoroughly enjoyed our first experience of Tapas style dining and would recommend it to others without any hesitation. As B & B owners ourselves we are well able to judge the efforts of others and we say a sincere thanks to Sarah and her team for a lovely night. Where possible we will encourage our guests to visit you.

Delicious! Great selection of dishes with healthy vege options. We missed out on the much-anticipated cauliflower dish that night but enjoyed the flavours of everything else we ordered. Well worth a try, best to order a variety and share with a group.
Deliciosa is simply delicious! Mediterranean style tapas restaurant with many dishes to share and good , special vegan menu when you ask! Food is very well prepared and seasoned. Bang bang cauliflower is to die for, so yummy and with such a good glaze and seasoning! Vegetarian mezze platter gives good selection of everything and share and is perfect option try everything. Very friendly and quick service , nice atmosphere and everything you wish to have some nice, relaxing time.
Nice place to eat, good variety. The fried chicken was nice with the sauce, the lamb with our favorite it was flavourful and tender, the pork belly was very crunchy to the point that I felt that it might have been over cooked, the mussels were delicious aswell with the sauce it was cooked in.
What a fabulous night. We had the best restaurant meal in a long time. We shared the Bang Bang Cauliflower, Asian Prawn Cocktail, and the Beef Brisket with Corn Bread. Absolutely yummy. Sarah, the owner, and Piper, our waitress, were top-notch. We will be back.

The restaurant is quite quirky and a little rustic. The food theme is hard to identify as it's a mixture of Spanish, Italian, Greek and Asian tapas cuisine. We were served by a lovely friendly American waitress who was very accommodating and gave us great service. The food was so delicious! We were blown away by how tasty the Bang Bang Cauliflower was - the best cauliflower dish we've ever had. The salt and pepper squid was disappointing as not much flavour, but the lamb with pilaf and pita bread was divine.
The desserts were really unique, but very yummy. Highly recommend the restaurant.
Great service and amazing food. Bang bang cauliflower really is as good as everyone says. Brisket was melt in the mouth delicious. Definitely will be back, highly recommend.

A fantastic restaurant. Wonderful service, coupled with a great variety of small plates and a good wine list.
We did four plates between four people, with some fries. That was plenty of food. The highlight for me was the brisket with pickles and cornbread. The other plates of fried chicken, prawns and bangbang califlower were also very very good.
Would wine and dine again.
One of our local faves. Great food all year round with the changes and staff are always lovely and checking on you .
