We came in as a large group for dinner, and it was a good evening. Only negatives were: a bit of a wait (though I love the fact that they mention this happens with certain dishes on the menu), and maybe a little flavour lacking. Plusses were: the nice atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff, reasonable prices, and fairly generous portion sizes. Overall, a very good experience, and there's plenty on the menu to tempt us back. Would give it 4.5 stars if it were an option.
Food was awesome and staff were polite, friendly and looked after us well even with the lunch time rush picking up. Would happily go back or send friends there.

Wow, had lunch. The service was awesome. Well priced. We had the leek and spud soup, I had the chicken and apricot filo... spectacular. The coffee was outstanding. I rarely review food places and I'm a fussy eater, but I couldn't fault anything. A definite must eat.
Had a really yummy chicken and bacon salad there last weekend It was presented really nicely too. Quite a generous portion ,so was able to take some home for my tea the next night. Certainly recommend it.

A great cafe in Invercargill right next to the market on a Saturday. We were spending the weekend in Invercargill from Dunedin and we popped into Cafe 34.
Aside from the fact the food was great and the coffee very good. The service was top quality. We travelled with a small baby and they were immediately accommodated. A large table for us and the pram. Quick table and food service. But to top it all off our waitress, Lana, held our wee one while we ate our lunch for a few minutes. Which meant both Mum and Dad got a hot meal.
Thanks so much well worth a visit even without a little one.
