First impression of Indian Spice.Greated warmly by the owner on our arrival. The decore of the restaurant is well done. Eye catching detail. We wanted to chat to the owner and he was happy to give us helpful advise on the menu choices. It was nice to hear their journey of how they set up the restaurant. The food came out on steaming hot plates and was delicious. We felt the timing between courses was just right. Overall all felt that we had had the best dining experience in Kaitaia of the year. We will definitely be recommending this restaurant to others and be returning often
Admittedly we dine probably to often but this restaurant sure make the best korma chicken, Service is the best and a fine example of excellence - thanks Dimple for your welcoming hospitality all the best for your knew adventure
Wow! Hands down the most tasty Indian in the Far North! The new management certainly have elevated the flavors and restaurant quality from the previous. Fabulous service and their Lamb Saagwala is a must!I I have been four times now and each visit and experience is always consistent, prompt and DELICIOUS. Thank you!
Beautiful restraunt, friendly and kind service. Had lunch, starters were so yummy, 10/10 for the main, Lamb Madras, Beef Vindaloo and best naan bread out! Ive had alot of curry in my time and this meal sure topped it all. Well done Indian spice Kaitaia!
Curry was super tasty! Plenty of rice and we’ll priced. Only slight negative was that the chicken was a little dry but still a great place!
First time to Katia and happy to see a Indian resturant. Popped in a place was done out with a classy Indian theme. When going somewhere new for curry wasn't holding out big hopes for a knockout curry BOOM that's what we got. We got the vege options on lunch menu, perfect textures, layered flavouring, we like Indian hot and perfect heat level. Naans were bubbly with crispy parts. Yum. Kingfisher beer to top it off and we were set for the day and drive back to whangarei. Thanks for the top food we will be back!!

Indian Spice Kaitaia has to be one of the best Indian restaurants in northland. Beautiful deep flavours, consistent quality and promt service. My favourite is their lamb vindaloo. Yummy tender meat. They even do dairy free meals and naans which is lovely.

Short 2 day stay in Kaitaia. Indian Spice is a good restaurant that serves great food. My wife commented it was the best garlic naan she had had in a long time. The seafood platter for two was an excellent starter. Two mains followed of which we consumed all but some rice. Service was good too although they were not busy. All in all well worth a visit especially if you like Indian food 😁
