Extremely wonderful experience at OLI and MI tonight. Relatively quite and romantic setting, brilliant service and amazing food. We had the owner/manager as our waiter who gave us a lovely experience and made us feel incredibly comfortable dining there. Would highly recommend OLI and MI ��
Came here with a freind to celebrate his birthday, wait staff were accommodating friendly and very knowledgeable. Food was yummy and did not disappoint enjoyed the option of sharing platter as it ment we could try all the tapas. Yummy house made sodas!
Ordered takeaway online via deliver easy. Pork and cabbage dumplings and beer battered fries. Dumplings are steamed (not a problem for me) best dumplings I’ve had for Lower Hutt/Petone region the sauce is like a sweet soy sesame and is to die for. Fries were perfect, piping hot, crispy/crunchy on the outside and warm and fluffy on the inside. Only thing is they didn’t come with a sauce but I’m well stocked up with aioli and tomato so this wasn’t a problem for me. Bonus points as it was even delivered 10mins early!!
This pl is has amazing service. The food was delicious - highly recommend trying this pl. Had the sharing platter,duck breast, market fish,greens,potatoes,then for dessert- Snow White meringue & chocolate ganache.
Delicious food and homely personal experience!! We had the fish of the day which was beautifully cooked and the seafood paella which was flavourful and authentic. Great customer service, would definitely return
We came here after not being able to dine in at another restaurant, but we are so glad that we chose Oli and Mi! The tasting plate for 2 people is amazing, we love it. The portion of the main is big too. The staffs were so friendly. They did their best to accommodate us and ensured that we had our food in time as we were in hurry for our movie. The place is very cozy, ideal for dinner date night! We will be back soon :)

Absolutely loved the food! I tried almost everything on the menu with a party of 6 and we were so taken back by the flavoring and fulfillment of each item. Our drinks were also bursting with flavour made by a waitress named Laurens wbo was amazing to us. The other staff were also very friendly and made us feel very comfortable. With every dollar. Loved the paella and the entree platter 😍😍 will definately be back!!
Delicious, delicious, delicious. The scallops were melt in the mouth and could almost be described as fluffy, the duck breast was moist and succulent, the espresso creme brûlée actually was espresso tasting and topped with marscapone which cut through the sweet flavour.
Presentation of every meal was a work of art.
Food was a little deconstructed for my personal taste but it worked.
The staff were sweet and fresh and seemed energized to be there, even at 8.30 pm on a Sunday night.
Venue was warm and inviting with a street view and candles. Perfect for a romantic dinner, but I would happily go there any time.
Delicious food and amazing service. Started off with the share platter and then ordered the black angus steak and whole market fish with some sides and we were very impressed! Highly recommend!
Tasting platter was awesome. The staff were great and attentive. Deserts were Devine. Favourite starters were the prawns and scallops. Chocolate fondant for desert a must for chocolate lovers.
Great service visiting for lunch today. We had the W.O.A.P. festival dish, this was amazing and we were treated to the dinner dessert. Would highly recommend, thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
This is a classy, delicious, intimate restaurant in Petone, across the harbour from Wellington. Our group had beautifully cooked scallops, beef, duck, antipasto and desserts. The food was beautifully presented and portion sizes were good. The wine list is small but well chosen, featuring interesting whites and reds from Portugal and other parts of Europe. Staff were a bit stressed but service was good. I will definitely be back as there were many other dishes on the menu I'm keen to try.
Lucky we called and made a booking for 3, even 8pm dinner it’s still all full for the tables. Good food (very detailed and good portions for the price) and service as always (changed menu) and enjoy the 🥘 meal and family time. Highly recommend.
Awesome service, we came on a Friday night and they were busy but happy to seat us. Great service, very friendly and attentive. We had the prawn ravioli and the beef Wellington. Both delicious and flavorsome, the beef Wellington cooked to perfection 👌 also delicious cocktails. Would definitely go back.
We loved this place. We had a great experience. The service was well balanced between friendly and professional. The food was very tasty too a fusion of Asian and European flavours. It is so hard not to have a 3 course meal. Every dish sounds amazing on paper, and they are.
Beautiful atmosphere, really enjoyed my time here. The food was beautiful and exciting, staff were super friendly and inviting. I feel as though an extra runner/server of some sort would have definately helped during the dinner rush but either way I will be returning, especially for the dessert menu😁
Went out for dinner with the folks, the food was spectacular. Delicious vege options and they will upsize entrees to main sizes. My only disappointment was I couldnt fit in desert. It's not cheap, but worth every penny.
Liked it a lot! The best part is the atmosphere, each table is kind of private as the restaurant has multiple rooms. The food is pretty good, have only sampled some from the new menu, but I loved the old menu and what I had (lamb followed by lemon merengue) was tasty
If you are looking for a cozy homey place with exquisite cuisine and wine list and high class service, go to Oli&Mi. We love good and interesting food but we don't fancy fancy places. This one was a perfect match. Duck and fish were amazing, but the desert was even better. Highly recommend!!
Delicious food. Highly recommend the tasting platter. Went with our 12yo foodies and they loved it too! We had three courses and it was all beautiful.
Not big but very nice set up. Tried two dishes from lunch menu quite happy about them. Will come back for dinner another day. Recommend house made soda for non alcohol drinker.
