Great value and great service every single time. The burgers are pretty good especially the fish burger. Tastes like fresh ingredients in everything they do and good helpings as well. The egg foo yung and the fried rice are very tasty with a great balance of veges and meat.
The only minuses are the wait times so calling ahead is a MUST and even then it can be so busy you'll still have to wait a bit. The other downside is the chips which are hit and miss with the portions and salt distribution with too much or too little.
Definitely recommend this store to anyone looking for quality Chinese and yummy burgers.
Great food and service. Thoroughly enjoyed the chicken chow mein and they add extra noodles at no extra cost. Great service and very well priced for what you get. Recommended.
Had the fish burger today, at 2 for $8.90 it's such good value for money! The fish tasted fresh and the burger was delicious. The chips weren't that good otherwise would've been a 5 from me.
When I am out that way I always buy fish and chips from here. It pays to phone the order through first as every time I've been, there is always a load of people waiting. Love their family packs; although yet to try the burgers.

Tried a fish burger and chips. Burger was large and had fresh lettuce, onion, tomato. lots of fish in it, because so many bites were purely fish it would have been improved with a bit of salt. The chips had a slightly greasy taste, perhaps some people prefer that flavour but it's not too my taste as much. I'll visit again to try one of the beef burgers (Always the biggest test of a fish and chip shop's burger menu). Clean shop and good service.

fish n chips and premises staff are always consistent, this is so important, knowing what you are getting ea time, I love the quality and the crispy fish batter and decent size fish servings....could poss be a tad more generous with chips
Recently visited after seeing it reviewed in the Hutt City newspaper, the reviewer mentioned "universe sized" burgers and I had to try it... The king fish burger was the LARGEST BURGER I HAVE EVER EATEN. Not sure how many pieces of fish were in there, I would say 2-3. Bigger than burger wisconsin and burgerfuel, and it was 2 for $8.50! With nice bread, salad, tartare sauce, tomato & onion, if you like delicious burgers and want value for money, go here and get a burger! All under $10!
Absolute beauty!! 14$mini pack! Can't beat it! Classic kiwi fish n chips, came with an extra potato fitter and they even add a lemon! ❤️ It's the small things that really make it count. Without a doubt .. grab ya fish in chips from Bule island seafoods
We made an order over the phone. So good to hear they could do our order for our beautiful children at AOG Waiwhetu White Sunday practice. They so deserved their little treat and Blue Island Seafoods even packed each order into their own packs! Fantastic helpful lady who took our order. This is such a great Fish and chip shop! Not many offer seating inside which makes it the perfect place to stop for lunch! Delicious tasting deep fried food! You can't go wrong stopping here!

Fish had no taste (better than being too fishy) burgers are fantastic and huge, shame about the people begging outside the shop
