On a cold day out in Lower Hutt, we decided a nice warm cup of miso was on the cards.
Angry Ramen had been recommended by my daughters, both huge fans of Asian cuisine.
We ordered a selection of Sushi, a rice bowl and some miso soup.
While the sushi was tasty, it wasn't quite as fresh as I am used to, but it tasted nice and was presented well.
The miso was delicious, warm and relaxing, and we also had a glass of apple cider and this was sweet, tart and perfect.
While we didn't get the Ramen noodles the rest of the food was fine.
Wonderful customer interaction from the staff. Despite a very busy day, the person behind the counter was interested and focused on getting our order right and was in good humor. It's detour is interesting to those that love magna art, and you find your own table. Young and old were dining for lunch and all food that came out (and quickly) looked delicious. We had a spicy Ramen and a chicken katsu. Exactly what we expected and tasted great. Give this place a go if you want a nice quick lunch with a friend.
Tried dinner in-house tonight and everything was amazing. Brilliant food, generous portions and lovely service . We were made to feel genuinely welcome and appreciated.

I love coming here on date night. I wish it was more popular, it absolutely deserves the recognition! The food is great and such a good price. Staff are lovely and it has such a nice chill vibe. 11/10 this place is a regular spot for me and my wife.

Whenever I find myself in Lower Hutt, a visit to Angry Ramen is an absolute must, specifically for their Aburi Salmon Don bowl. It's truly a delight that never fails to impress. In the past, this delectable dish used to cost $18.90, but nowadays, it'll set you back nearly $24.
We had, a bowl of Miso Butter Chicken, which I ad never tasted before, thatwas delicious!!
The only let down was the sushi, which wasn't up to the range, nor price of Sushi, across the road. However I would still highly recommend Angry Ramen!
We tried this once in the new year and again during our recent visit to Wellington. Both times were great! Amazingly umami broth and chewy ramen noodles.
