Had our first meal at Precinct tonight and cannot rate it highly enough. Food was excellent, service professional and nothing could be faulted. This will be our new regular
Every time we eat at the Precinct, whether it be lunch or dinner the food is absolutely fabulous. We could not fault the food or service. Definitely the place to eat in Motueka.
Friendly service. Great coffee and all good was delicious except the burger. Was overpriced and could only taste mustard and nothing else. Pork sliders great! Nice chunky chips.
Most friendly and genuine staff I've ever encountered at a resturant. Most pleasant experience for everything between booking and payment. The starters are exceptionally good value, and the passion is evident in both the visuals as well as taste of the food across the board. Well worth the relatively cheap prices for a great experience
Good food and excellent service. The chef was very accommodating to our requests of leaving out fennel seeds from the mussels' sauce (the sauce was great without fennel) and cooking the salmon slightly rare.
Everything is delicious here. Highly recommend the Warm Orzo Salad and Pappardelle, well.... their dessert are exceptional too!
Amazing dinner at motueka after hiking in the Abel Tasman. Try to book a reservation or go early. They were all booked for the evening but we were able to get in early before someone else's reservation started.

Had to be one of my biggest dining surprises thus far. I've eaten at numerous Michelin starred restaurants and I would put the food coming out of this tiny unassuming cafe in a very small town in the same league. Not saying it would get a Michelin star but the quality of food is in the same league. Outstanding!!

Absolutely loved it. We have tried to go for a while, realised it's important to book. Tonight's meal was delicious, couldn't fault it, great staff, very professional lovely atmosphere. Highly recommend, we will return for another special evening definitely.
