Lots of fancy flavours! Really cool place to have so close to the beach, happy it was open too when I was here during the very start of spring.
I got the chocolate which was good, thought it would be slightly richer and more interesting but was just kinda like your typical chocolate icecream. I tried the kinda surprise flavour which was pretty good, I would recommend to check out! Interested to try their sorbets next time, the wild berry looked yummy!

I stumbled upon this gelato place before walking up the Mount. We ordered coffees in the morning which were decent.
The best part about this place is of course the gelato though. I got 2 scoops of salted caramel and chocolate. My partner got salted caramel and creme brûlée. Their salted caramel is dark in colour compared to other salted caramel gelato I've tried but it's really good. It's quality gelato and we both loved it. The price for 2 scoops was also reasonable and it's great to enjoy by the beach.
Delicious gelato- i ordered a two scoop waffle cone. The flavours were cookies, and salted caramel. The salted caramel was delicious. The only downside is the cost of each scoop roughly $5.20.
Right across the road from the beach, with a few outside tables and chairs. 20+ flavours of gelato to choose from. It's not worth ordering 1 flavour only for $7.50, you might as well get 2 for $9.00. The kiddie size has an age restriction for under 5 years only. Good service

I've been served (13th june 23) by a professional and lovely young lady offering a great service and being very friendly with my kids.
And the ice-cream themselves were tasty and generously served.
The - price to quality - ratio is actually good at Monte Gelato when you know that so many other places serve tasteless Tiptop "ice cream" in the cheapest cone possible for 7 or 8 dollars. All prices went very high these past few years, with suppliers price increase happening all the time. So it's normal for all prices to go up too.
Very nice flavours of gelato to suit all tastes. I got a lemon flavoured one and then a berry one. I’ve also tried the mocha and hokey pokey and they were all delicious!
Monte Gelato is a must visit if you are at the mount, doesn’t matter if it’s a hot summers day or a cold winter morning, they have something for everyone!
Absolutely yum ice-cream. Handmade. Owner and team are at the shop front. Personal and friendly, and again, the ice-cream is amazingly yum.

Definitely beats Copenhagen cones around the corner. Excellent range of flavours and combinations of gelato and the customer service is top quality, friendly, helpful, reasonable. Nice work Monte Gelato, keep up the good work! 👍👍

Also Diary free option available, I had the strawberry which was lovely lovely and it had real frozen 🍓, brilliant!
Great gelato. We had Cappuccino and Chocolate velvet on one cone and then mango and lemon curd on another. Wife said the lemon curd was the best and I liked all of them. Obviously demolished them and didn’t even think of taking photos. Staff were nice despite some people taking too much time trying out different flavours.
