When there for lunch on a quiet Thursday, I ordered the Satay Chicken with Rice which came portion sized which was nice. I then ordered some Fried Ice Cream (Ice Cream battered in Desiccated Coconut and deep fried, then covered with chocolate sauce, served with a Pineapple Ring at the bottom and cream)
Had a lovely meal here on Saturday. Friendly fast service. We ordered chicken panang curry which was delicious and a big serving enough for 2. Also ordered wonton soup which my husband enjoyed. I highly recommend
Went to Bangkok House with a party of 14 with no reservations and we were accommodated very nicely. This place is very good for groups; the tables are set up for it. We had wontons to start which were fairly average and I didn't have high expectations of the rest of our meal because of it but I was pleasantly surprised. Everything else we ordered was delicious. The spicy squid in particular was exquisite. We ordered seconds for nearly everything. Highly recommended place.
Two of us went to Bangkok House for the first time about 7.30 on a Tuesday night without reservations. We were greeted by a charming waitress with a beautiful smile . She provided excellent service and was very attentive all night. They were moderately busy but our food was delivered promptly and was really excellent. The menu was very comprehensive and meals reasonably priced. We will certainly recommend this restaurant to others and will go back again.

I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves Thai food. I have tried many different Thai dishes, and would have to say I rate this as being one of the best Thai meals I have tried. Authentic flavours, very fresh, quality ingredients. The Thai beef salad was amazing!

Our order was as follows for two people:
1x Chicken Pad Thai (4 STAR)
1x Chicken Yellow Curry (5 STAR) with rice
We always grab a couple Garlic Naan Breads from Flavour Of India in Marewa Shops, they go so well with the Yellow Curry!
Both dishes are very tasty and the service is always excellent at Bangkok House!

Fantastic hosts and great menu, the meals are just the right size, tasty, reasonable and we also often come back here. We think it is the best thai in Napier and highly recommend it. Whether for lunch or a more formal feel for dinner this cosy restaurant does the job, plus the kids are comfortable and enjoy it here too.
We took the kids there on a Monday evening. The restaurant had 4 items on the kids menu: chicken and chips, fish and chips, chicken fried rice, or chicken noodles. My kids had chicken and chips and the chicken noodles. The chicken and food are the same as you'd get anywhere else which, of course, is a good thing. We have a finicky eater who wouldn't have it any other way. And, the chicken noodles was perfect for the other kid who is a little more adventurous but not so much that I'm buying him a $20 meal. The chicken noodles were perfect. He got to try some Thai food that was mild enough for him to enjoy it.
I was a little disappointed that my pineapple fried rice wasn't served in a pineapple. It tastes better in the pineapple, but it was still good.
Lovely real Thai food, a great place to visit for lunch or dinner. Plenty of seating and great atmosphere.
I visited Bangkok House for the first time last night. It is decorated simply while capturing the atmosphere of Bangkok. I ordered the broccoli with crisp pork. The serving was very generous and delicious. The prices are modest. Very enjoyable. I will return.
We came upon Bangkok House as it was close to where we were staying and were delighted at the experience and great food they prepare. This restaurant has a lovely Thai ambience, great service and wonderful food with that classic Thai flavour. We will definately be going back again, and recommend it to anyone who likes classic Thai taste.
Authentic Thai Food. Very nice place to eat. This place is nicely clean and awesome design of food and service with gorgeous decorations. If go over there and having you food you will feel like an ancient museum of Thailand. They got hips of collections of Thai materials. Staffs are very friendly and helpful. They got car parking in front of there entrance. Wheelchair friendly access.
