Went to the Bach for dinner tonight, would highly recommend you go for a meal.
The food was fantastic, starter of chesy garlic flat bread plenty for 3, buffalo wings were juicy. I had the beef burger, homemade pattie was large and filled the whole burger, the fillings were very tasty.
Other dinners had ribs, tender and melt in the mouth, the pizza was big enough to take half home. Chips on the plate were non greasy and crisp. Meals were big couldn't finish all the chips on my plate or wedges on the other diners plate.
Staff were lovely and friendly.
Bill was less than we have paid at other places.
I came here last year for my birthday and first time visiting Nelson š¤ 10/10 food was delicious, cocktails were very nice. Dessert was delicious too! On top of that the waitress was lovely - thank you for the awesome birthday evening !!! š
We showed up with a big table and didn't book. The service was lovely and the staff tried to accommodate a big table at short notice. The food was good but the roast meat was a bit dry and gravy a bit too salty. No milkshakes at the time we were there. Overall a good place to go for bar food and lovely staff.
I have been wanting to try this restaurant for a long time now. Perfect timing! They just reopened today (Wednesday, June 15, 2022) after some renovation. They have got a new menu as well. I ordered some wedges with sour cream and sweet chili, their vegetarian dish of the day (gratin, broccoli, almonds and the salad on the side is good too!), and 1kg mussels with bread. The mussels were nice, big, and fresh, not overcooked. Everything was excellent! Good price, good quantity/serving size, great food!
Stewart was the best waiter ever and his quick witted humour matched ours. . We had so much fun. And the chocolate stout mud cake was glorious.
Quite satisfied pasta was great steak wasn't close to medium but happy with our service nice cold weather food here,,
Great prices, good staff and atmosphere.
Food is absolutely delicious, great portions and really good value for money. A real hidden gem for stoke.
Really good value for money $19.9 lunch specials, really nice people. I got the fish n chips, Soo good. Recommended. The sun comes in nicely for lunch in the sun shine!
Service was friendly, prompt, and attentive without being overbearing.
The place has been recently refurbished and looks great with a really nice atmosphere.
We had the roast, and asked for lashings of gravy. They did not disappoint. Perfect amount of gravy, well seasoned, generous portion, and meat so tender you could cut it with a fork. Beautiful.
Thoroughly recommend, will be going again.
Thank you.
Canāt thank the team at The Bach enough for accommodating my husband and I for a last minute dinner on a Friday night as they were closing. Having been discharged from hospital, I was longing for a proper decent meal, and The Bach Restaurant delivered. Care and attention was in both our meals, his ribeye was cooked to perfection, and my Seafood Chowder was packed with the ocean, creamy and well seasoned. A side of vegetables for me, and paprika chips with his beef, made us both happy. Stella went out of her way to give us excellent service, and we didnāt feel rushed at any stage to leave, despite them being closed. Very clean, tidy, lovely. Thanks for the cold beer, Iād waited a week for that!
