I found out a buddy of mine started working there so this sparked my interest of this place. I really like the simplicity of this concept. Choose your meatball, then sauce and on what.
This really caters for everyone which I really like. I ordered the veal, cranberry meatballs with tomato sauce with Agria mash. Everything worked well and I really enjoyed. I thought that 3 meatballs would not be enough to fuel a gym junkie but man was I wrong.
The price is fair and I can't wait to go dine in and be served.
This place is great! New Plymouth just keeps getting better and better! I had the mac n cheese with pesto and one lamb meatball! Cheese lovers will absolutely LOVE the mac n cheese base. It is quite a rich sauce, so I think I will balance it next time with a tomato based sauce instead of pesto (even though that is delicious!!!).
The alcoholic sorbet spider is awesome. Super sweet, but I was happy to indulge as we were celebrating!

Offers good vegan options and provides satisfactory service. While my companions enjoyed their flavorful meals, my dish fell short on taste. A hit-or-miss experience, but worth a revisit for a potentially better flavor profile.
The food was really good! Vegan meatballs were very tasty and other vegan friendly options were available as well. Staff was very friendly. Be mindful that the wait time is a bit long, we waited for about an hour, but food was worth it!
5 stars for us. The best meatball place. Chef’s choice was great. Service was good. Definitely recommended and coming back again next time!

Cute little place, with a unque spin on the menu with its 3 step combos. Tasty kai, feeling very satisfied with the flavour and amount.
Ordered from new menu, best Daal and Naan that I’ve had in New Plymouth, would definitely recommend 💯
It was a very cold evening, so we were looking for some hearty comfort food. The beef meatballs with a stroganoff sauce on a bed of spaghetti was good, both in size and taste.
Update- dined here last night was absolutely delicious. Had vegetarian balls on mash with a tomato based sauce. Was super tasty and the two staff on dury were excellent.

Amazing service from Hannah, suggested menu items and kept an eye on our table attentively. Dinner was outstanding! Even accommodated a table next to the door so I could bring my dog. Faultless experience and my new favorite restaurant in New Plymouth. Go here you won't be disappointed.
This place is something quite special if your looking for a slightly different dining experience.

I have been to Polpetta a few times to dine in, and it's always fabulous! The other night, my partner and I were craaaaving meatballs, so we thought we'd get it via delivereasy. Firstly, we noticed we couldn't order a side of Mac and cheese via the delivereasy app (it was only available with the meatballs, but we'd chosen other sides for the meatballs, lol). We gave Polpetta a call, and the lovely staff member advised that we could order a side of Mash via the app and put in a note, and they would swap it for the Mac and Cheese! Easy as. We made our order for two main meals a side of Mac and cheese and two brownie deserts. We were skeptical of how it would all come packaged and whether it would still be as good as dine in (they have very generous servings when you dine in and I was interested to see if the portion size would be the same). Well, we were pleasantly surprised when it arrived. Everything was perfectly packaged. The stroganoff sauce was packaged separately, so nothing was soggy. The ice cream was packaged separately, too, so it wasn't all melted. Once plated up, it was obvious the servings were exactly the same as dine in, so not skimping from Polpetta! The meals were delicious and fresh, and considering the quality and the ease to have it delivered, it was really good value for a bit of a treat. Hands down would order takeout again from here. 100% recommend.
