Always a great atmosphere. Awesome place to have a pint n catch up with friends and family. Piza is just the best in town. Wood fires roaring on cold days / nites which adds another level to the ambiance! Just a neat place for a pint n chat!
Great place to meet friends and family and enjoy some time relaxing over a pint of 1905 is my favourite along with Gingerbeer that is delicious. The service is excellent, very friendly and accommodating, along with the best food in town, pizza's are a speciality!
Wow... Great stuff, the hub of Oamaru. Valiant effort at working with gluten free ingredients to create a beer but it's not for me. I settled on the double IPA for drinkies there and takeaway. I never thought I'd ever get a true pint. Highly recommend after a hard days steampunking.
We stopped here for a bite on our way to see the penguins. Ate some fairly tasty pizza and washed it all down some very good brews. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Staff is nice and service is good. Ample parking for the site and close to town.
A great place. The bar and restaurant attached are a place to be especially on a summer evening. Wonderful pizzas recommended by two locals.
Arrived in Oamaru very VERY hungry in the first days of January only to find a dead town and nobody open for service... Lucky we walked down to the end of the road and found these guys! Mind-blowingly good pizza - not just because we were super hungry! And the beer was phenomenal! Check out these guys if passing through :)

Pizza is ok but the Harbourmaster is the best beer 🍺
We were on our way to see the penguins when we saw this brewery and decided to give it a go. We were walking from our hotel and we thought Oamaru was a very quiet town. Much to my surprise, it seems everybody was here!! 😅 It was busy in the pub, and people were lining up to order. There’s plenty of seating outside and inside, but most were taken when we were there. I was a bit cold (it was a windy day) and so glad we found seats inside. They have a great selection of beer, and we opted to order a flight. It’s always the way to go if you haven’t tried their beers. Their food menu looks good too, especially the pizza. The place is kids-friendly, as I could see families with small children there as well. Great spot to chill and meet people in Oamaru.

Great meals at a great price. Unless you're a huge eater, buy one meal and share it. The loaded fries with pulled pork was amazing.
I loved this place, it had a very buzzy vibe with lots of people from families to friends out for a good night.
We had pizza chips and beer and I have to say they were delicious.
Highly recommend to go and experience this yourself.
