Celebrated my birthday here yesterday. Breathtaking location, fabulous wine tasting experience (with a very knowledgeable wine scientist!) and great two course meal (our lady knew the menu backwards and was so helpful). Think lavender gardens, log fire, full bodied reds and go! Big fan of the Oscar, the Francesa and the Velvet. These wines are great gifts.(One small suggestion: please sell the little wine stops you use in the tasting room, Oscarš so we can take the party homeš) See you soon.
No beating the view. Didnt research the food availability times. Lull period in middle of day. Only appetizers for us. Signature malbec smooth. Coming from ferry takes some good walking shoes and no faint heart.
The most stunning venue and delicious food, thoughtful service (it was my birthday which they didn't know and when they found out they added some very nice and much appreciated touches). The meal was exquisite and the venue a fairyland. We were there at night so can't comment on the views, but I very much hope to go back.

The food was divine, the wait staff were incredible (going above and beyond) and the view was absolutely stunning. Booking is absolutely necessary but well worth it.
We had a truly magical meal at Mudbrick. It was a romantic, intimate setting. The service was superb with just the right amount of personal flair. The food was imaginative, indulgent, and arrived swiftly. I have wanted to come here for years and am thrilled to find it was such a delight. As a Southerner, the open fire added that certain special something to our evening. Thank you, Mudbrick! We will definitely be back.
Mondays might be quiet but my visiting sister and her husband lived the laid back atmosphere and the views. We pretty much had the rooftop to ourselves for a fantastic tasting and then a glad of our favourite. The weather also played ball and it was warm and dry (amazingly)
Had one afternoon free in Auckland as a work trip, recommended by colleagues to jump on the ferry and head over here. I was not disappointed! Great wine, views, location, and the staff were excellent! Will definitely be coming back here
Was here on our holiday during last Xmas. We saw a YouTube video of 2 guys from the US doing a feature on Waiheke Island and visiting this winery so we decided to give it a try on our outing to Waiheke. The Hop-On-Hop-Off bus took us directly to the winery which was really convenient. We expected to be a tourist trap for that reason since it was on the bus route but the wine and food blew us away! This place was legit! We enjoyed our lunch at the restaurant so much, we decided to return the next day for dinner which happened to be X'mas Eve and setting our expectation low since it was so late in making a booking. However the staff was so accommodating and squeezed us in! They also have a casual outdoor eatery (Bistro) aside from the restaurant which we would give it a try if we ever return. It was a stunning winery with a panoramic view of the gulf. We loved the wines so much we brought back couple bottles back with us to California. Do visit here!
We had lunch with 8 of us. As you drive into the car park, it is the most stunning spot. The Bistro and Restaurant were heaving with people, but all spread out over a large area. Awesome atmosphere!!
The meal was good but not amazing. The salad and vegetable side arrived when we had virtually finished our mains. The vegetables were actually just Brussel sprouts, which fortunately we liked. All in all, it was a fabulous lunch and atmosphere, and we would definitely recommend and certainly come back.
We had a wonderful experience at Mudbrick. We went through two wine flights on their tasting menu for a total of eight magnificent wines; four whites and four reds. They were all lovely wines and the staff were very patient describing each wine, contrasting them with one another, and repeating as necessary :-) They were knowledgeable, helpful, and extremely friendly. We were able to take the wine samples to the outdoor dining area which has beautiful ocean and countryside views. The food was also excellent- a delicious selection of cheeses and the right accompaniments (grapes, crackers, bread, honey on the comb and a nice chutney). We also had a generous portion of delectable olives. We enjoyed the wines so much we picked up a couple of bottles to take home to the USA with us. It was a perfect afternoon and we highly recommend this place!
