My Favourite takaway spot for Fish and Chips in Otahuhu. There is a few competitions and they also are good, but this one is the better of the main 3, in my opinion. The top 3 - South City Takeaways, Otahuhu Fisheries and Tobys.
These guys have the best fish, scallops and oysters in Auckland. Always really fresh and never overcooked. Highly recommended if you need a fish n chip fix. Haven't really tried anything else.
Great value and good quality. 2 fish and chips for $5, usually gurnard and really fresh. $5 for 10 battered mussels, huge juicy mussels, just amazing value. Their pots of raw fish are ok too. Always busy.
Yum fresh fish and chips. very cheap and affordable great specials . south city burger is my favourite. but overall great yum food. would recommend.
Probably the best fish n chips place to get a real bargain, quality fresh battered fish and mussels, Jack the owner has a very special burger to die for, you can order on the phone before pick up, very clean and refreshing little establishment.
This would be our favourite fish and chips store for our work place. We have tried so many in Otahuhu, the rest we have tried oily greasy and the batter is so thick that you can't even taste the fish..this place great quality food. Portions a bit small but makes up in its quality for Otahuhu.
We were shopping for some fresh fish next door ...when I remember reading reviews about this place,not the fanciest outlet from the outside..but at the end of the day its the product they produce that really counts and what i ordered was surprising good ,crispy batter on the fish and crab stick and a flaversome toasted sandwich,this place is a hidden gem in the middle of nowhere and the icing on the cake here the pricing of products here,cheap, cheap and will be back here when out this way..for my f"n"chip fix.....

First time we have tried this local fish and chips we ordered fish, chips and potato fritters the batter was crunchy and light i was pleasantly suprised. This takeaways is very busy we also bumped into 2 lots of neighbours so obviously the best kept secret re fish and chips. We will be back this week.

By far the best fish and chips we've had across Auckland. The seafood is prepared when you order so it's always freshly made with a light batter that isn't greasy. Really well priced too with big portions.

I order fish n chips, chicken nuggets, and South City Burger. It will fill you instantly, and fresh raw mussels. It's not too oily and very satisfying for a family of 4 or more. It's a good feed.
I call it the Best fish n chips in town. You get Gurnard and not shark. You can order Snapper if u wish it's fresh. As next door is Fish shop. Sometimes it's better to phone order and pick up as it gets so busy u hav to wait for ages. That's because they are so popular. It's a Local well loved Fish n Chips Shop and for good reason.
Great fish. I'm fussy about my batter and their's is perfect. Good value in the #2 pack. Lovely couple who are Super Busy. You do have to wait due to their popularity but you can phone in. 👍👍👍
